(July 14) -- Do you ignore flight attendants when they give the pre-flight instructions about what to do if the oxygen masks drop from the ceiling? You'll pay more attention after hearing what happened to Southwest Flight 2294.
Investigators are trying to figure out why a football-sized hole popped open in the airliner's cabin on a flight from Nashville yesterday. After an emergency landing in Charleston, W. Va., passengers told CNN what they went through.
The Daily Palin
In today's episode, the soon-to-be-former governor of Alaska tries her hand at editorial writing. 'Angel in a White Coat'
While official Washington was focused on the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor yesterday, President Obama named his choice for surgeon general.

The City Council is moving to scrap the ban. Some officials want to retain certain rules in the interest of public safety, but Parks and Recreation Board member Loyd Ogle isn't one of them.
"Why is dance such a threat to our safety?" he asked at yesterday's council meeting.
Somewhere, Kevin Bacon is smiling.
