One reason most of you are unwilling to admit that there are no gods, of any kind, is because then you have to recognize that nothing was behind these atrocities but simple human nature, and that you yourselves are capable of the same things. Not willing, but certainly capable. That's a scary thought, isn't it, that there's no supreme evil puppeteering certain people and no supreme good trying to use utter cruelty to 'teach lessons'- it's just people. Regular people.

Catholic church needs to close down and those who actuallly do good works needs to reform into something else. I would be shamed to belong to this religion and it's long history of sexual abuse, greed, bigotry, lying, stealing, persecution would fill volumes of books. It this truly a religion or a long, organized system of corrupt people and sanctioned ways of trying to contol the little people while the ordained ones do every sin in the bible?

The Catholic Church in Ireland should have to forfit all it's money and and land to pay in compensation to the thousands of its victims. Organized Religion is a cancer on the planet, causing most of the terrorism, sexual abuse and fatalities from superstitions in the world.

Religion is nothing more than a social disease, and the bloodiest force in human history. Religion is used daily to justify war, genocide, torture, slavery, child molestation, discrimination, and stealing necessities from the poor to deliver luxuries to the rich. Until we cast of religious superstition and take responsibility for our own actions, we'll never be truly free.

The book of Revelation speaks of the fall of "Babylon The Great", which is all false religions. It tells of her being completely devoured soon by the political powers of the earth world wide. the Catholic church is part of Babylon the Great and her complete devouring, destruction is immanent. Already the Political powers are getting an appetite for her demise. The things she has done in the name of God is just appalling. Too numerous to mention! And the God of the bible already has foretold her complete destruction. She has already fallen. The prestige she once had over the centuries has gone. Destruction, complete annihilation is next. If you are a part of her, head the words of Rev 18:4, to get out of her now.

Just one more reason why the catholic church can't be trusted. All they do is take your money and screw your kids.
