Pretty obvious Madame Governor lacked the integrity to hold office in the 1st place. Residents of AK should have been listening to her words & lack of intelligence instead of looking at her legs! You betcha!

I would bet a LOT that she has been offered something that PAYS big money. 'Serving' Alaska probably looked less desirable than getting rich... She has been jonesing to get back to Neiman Marcus and Todd wants to win the Iron Man Snowmobile race with the newest and baddest, most expensive machine available.. . Mark my words.. she will be serving $ up for herself, not serving her country.

She called herself a maverick....she is not a maverick, she is a loose cannon, and she is dangerous.

Shaeferkritik...You're kidding, right?? Palin...INFORMED?! To quote Star Trek, "Are you out of your Vulcan mind?!" Let's take, for example, the famous "Drill, baby, drill!" We might indeed have enough oil, however, you have to look at it economically. In Saudi Arabia, oil workers are paid barely slave wages, therefore people who buy from them like Bush can jack the prices enough to keep them comfortable, and to Hell with us. Over here, we pay our workers top dollar. So, in order to keep the same profit margin, guess how much higher gas prices would be if we used our own petroleum...About the range of $12.00 to maybe $16.00 per gallon. Yeah, "Drill, baby, drill," all right...Drill us right into a position where we could be sunk beyond recovery! ALL the bloody facts need to be present before you can make an 'informed' statement

Wouldn't someone who asks to be elected governor of the state feel some duty to carry out their term in office? To just quit, without offering any legitimate explanation to the citizens she was elected to serve, sounds very self-serving. Just another politician.

She drew crowds because she was a novelty. Hell, I would have gone to see her had she campaigned close by, and I'd never vote for her in a million years. But the novelty has long since worn off this tired withered flower.

Republicans would not be dumb enough to vote for Palin for President? Well don't bet the farm just yet. McCain was dumb enough to let her run for VP and it cost him BIG! I always considered McCain a Good republican.. would have voted for him IF he had won the nomination against BUSH..BUT when that ship sailed, and he run with Palin..Well let's just say I think he's loosing it.

I don't think many people took Sarah Palin seriously as a VP candidate, let alone her being a Presidential candidate. She doesn't understand policy issues on a national level (remember the VP where Biden showed a real grasp of the issues and Palin wouldn't answer the media questions?). She should go back to Wasila and be mayor of a small town--oh, that's right, she wasn't even a good mayor as her pet project (the hockey rink) had huge cost overruns. In fact, construction was started before the city of Wasila had clear title to the land the rink was built on. Maybe Sarah should just back to Wasila. Her best moment of the campaign was her appearance on SNL. Maybe she could join the cast of SNL or 30Rock? I do feel too much has been made about her daughter's pregnancy, but hey, if you want to play with the big boys, life is going to be rough and tumble. There is no way Sarah Palin could survive a primary campaign. The GOP isn't stupid enough to nominate her for President.
