We hardly have 5 movies a year worthy of the award and they are going to add another 5? There is just no reason to watch that joke of a show anymore.

PullMaFingerQuik The hype over Heath Ledgers performance was just that "Hype". ____________________________________________________I thought Ledger's performance was brilliant.The movie was average, (and entirely too long)The two leads must have been someone's relatives.But Ledger was great.

Well apparantly, I didnt see the same movie the rest of the world saw when it came to the Dark Knight. I felt it was just plain average. The hype over Heath Ledgers performance was just that "Hype". Lets face the facts, had he not died, people and critics would not have paid as much attention to it.I think expanding the picks to 10 is a mistake. As displayed by this article, it would just make people want to go back to past awards and say what couldve been or shouldve been just like this writer did about this past year. Who really cares? The Dark Knight should have gotten Movie of the year, but not because it was any good, but just because it made the most money and that my friends is the real goal of all films.
