A lot of deaf people get killed by trains. They think they are safe for some odd reason and can't hear the train coming. Some walk too close to the sides of the tracks.

We had a retard just like him in my town. I nearly broadsided him once when he pulled out right in front of me. Had I been in the lane I normally used there would have been no way I could have stopped and he would have had my minivan in his lap. When I yelled at him his lame excuse was only that his vision was blocked by another car (so he decided to just roll the dice and pull out into traffic without knowing what might be coming. Not many months later I read in the paper where the retard passed a car on double yellow lines going around a curve and to avoid a headon collision with another car he rear ended a minivan full of a family driving home from church. Luckily the family suffered no physical injuries, but the retard died at the scene...I, for one, was glad to know there was one less retard on the road for me to worry about.

I would never allow my 14 year old daughter to ride around in another teenager's car. And she knows not to even approach me with "Can I?"

The driver was an idiot... Why they chose to ride with him, is beyond understanding... He was a death wish type of driver... The young and foolish... So sad and yet so predictable...

This is evry teen parents nightmare.. so sad.its a damn if you do, and damn if you dont situation in governing your teens activities... to know this kid drove around a stopped vehicle to scoot pass the downed rails to beat the train, surely leaves no wonder in teens ability to reason, yet.why do teens need a drivers license under the age of 18 is beyound me...its justa another toy to them..an accident waiting to happen, killing themselves and others...cant bring back a life..think twiced..dont give teens car keys..save a life...my thoughts are with the parents of these kids..i survived raisng 2 teen myself..whew, it is a huge job and tugs on all your nerves...

Daughter beats mom unconscious for not being permitted to go surfing, daughter & boyfriend kill entire family, daughter kills mom over food item, son kills father and friend, Jessica Sadler wanted to go to the beach with her boyfriend (4 boys, 17 ), etc. Such a hard life these young people have, with or without iPod, laptop, laying around, life is so unfair (I am not rich, have strict parents), you're mean, etc. Well, these kids learned the hard way and got what they earned. Know who you are with, and listen to your parents. By the way, I have a 13 year old daughter, who is independent (oh boy!).

...I saw it happen in a little prairie town years ago....(while part time engineer& news reporter for a small AM radio station)..the bodies definitely proved youth isn't immortal at 16...the funerals were dismal (pine boxes in a semi- circle)...a drunk girl passed out in the back seat survived...(woke up screaming at the carnage.) Oh..the train won.
