Ironic. A March 28 blizzard in Kansas and Oklahoma during the "Earth Day" lights out protest to protest "Global Warming". When are people going to realize that the Earth goes through cycles and "Global Warming" is just a hoax for more government control of our lives? I always turn out my lights before I leave for work, set my thermostat at 65, and rarely use the air conditioning out of economic necessity, and on the rare occasions I do use the A/C I set it at 80. I believe most people don't like having to pay energy companies more than they have to. They don't need the socialists in the government telling them what to do.

every 130k years the earth has warmed up and spiked in carbon...(we were not around then where did the carbon come from?? = = = = = = = = = = = What is the posters source for the "every 130K years ... spike in carbon" claim? I assume he means C02 in the atmosphere. Measurement over a number of decades and analysis of ice cores shows the CO2 level being the highest in the last 500 thousand years. Without the oxidation of fossel fuels extracted from the earth's crust (that's why the CO2 levels have increased starting with the industrial revolution) CO2 primarily comes from the oxidation of plants and animals be it by fire or decomposition. Volcanos are not a significant source of CO2. Yawn -- I'm gone.

Jas Hebert 01:41 PMMar 29 2009 Gee, over the last 12 months I used 4156 KWs= = = = = = = = = = = = Hey, you're doing pretty well. I don't know what your rate is but at $0.10 / KWH that would only be about $416 plus taxs and Etc. That's better than I can do with conservative use and everything in the house energy efficient.
