(March 5) - That wasn't a peanut at the center of J. Paulette Potts' M&M's candy.
Potts, of Atlanta, said she found a bone while eating one of the treats, FOXNews.com reported Thursday.

Pott said she discovered the offending item in a blue candy last Friday, after she bit down on something that her teeth wouldn't go though.
She brought the bone to a biology professor, who identified it as a mammal vertebra -- although which mammal, he couldn't say.
"It's definitely bone, and it came from some type of mammal," the professor, Larry Blumer, told FOXNews.
Potts has not filed a lawsuit against the candy's manufacturer.

Mars, the company that makes M&M's, said it was investigating. "We have already taken steps to ensure that the product in question is returned to us and evaluated," the company said in a statement. "Since we are currently in the middle of this process, no conclusion has been reached at this time."
