The zoo is using the usual govt fundee scare tactics....give us money or we will have to kill the animals. Just like local govts threaten to cut Police and Fire protection when a tax doesn't pass....With 550,000 visitors a year I think they can generate some revenue and be more self sufficient.

Your right the economy dont go to hell in a matter of "weeks" but it went to hell because of certain govt programs and far to many greedy fat cats, both in private sector and govt. however....Govt cannot tax and spend us back to prosperity, thats a rediculous notion that has never worked. and by the way..ITS OBAMAS BABY NOW! blame who you will, but master messiah obama and his pork spending stimulus did NOTHING!
