This is pretty dumb because any smoke you inhale is going to harm your lungs, they're just once again trying to make marijuana look bad.But It's perfectly harmless through a vaporizer or just cooked into brownies or something

My pardon if I am going over any of the same ground as previous posts, BUT...as marijuana is usually grown naturally, uses no chemicals in the drying process (unless you are an idiot) AND if one would use a difuser to "smoke" it (does not burn the pot, only heats the weed to the correct temperature to release the THC from the weed) and does not create any smoke, THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY REASON that pot should cause cancer.

Just breathing the air or eating pesticide tainted food, etc., causes cancer. Who are these people doing the research? Just more BS to fill peoples' heads!

Marijuana as a personal defense weapon. Next time you run into troublemaker, simply lay some second hand smoke on him and chill him out.

Simzillyjp 04:30 AMJul 06 2009 Nothing Tangible.....It was actually GUNS that made weed illegal. Go read or see The History of Marijuana. #################################################### Apparently, YOU are the person in need of finding the true history of pot. Making it illegal had NOTHING to do with guns in any way shape or form! It had EVERYTHING to do with William Randolph Hearst, his holdings in timber land and paper making along with his ownership of some 18 different publications. Just when it was found that hemp, pot, made a superior and far cheaper paper, the number one man using and making paper did everything in his power to make it illegal.

People, if you are going to smoke marijuana, use a vaporizer; no smoke no heat = no cancer!Quote for truth. Now, just tell the goverment that!

the reason is that cannabis contains known carcinogens...so does COFFEE, so does that bb-q'd hamburger...it's a technicality that's all...and MOST cancer treatments ALSO are known to cause cancer....

This is not news, they've known forever pot is a carciogene. Now California wants to make it legal. So how bad is second-hand marijuana for our heath? Will there be laws that you can not smoke it in your apartment?
