Our little Melvin a [butterscotch tabby] has a has a sound that sounds like he is saying MOM....and he is real good at that one......i was half asleep one night and he came to the bedroom door and said it and my first thought was it was one of the kids so i said what do you want then i realized it was him.....my kids are all grown and live in other states then i do.......just to real ! ! we love him big time : )

NEVER LIKED CATS, I RAISE RHODESIAN RIDGEBACKS: I TOOK A KITTEN HOME 18 YEARS AGO, FOR MY WIFE, IT TOOK T.C. THE CAT ABOUT 6 WEEKS TO RUN THE PLACE, WE HAD HER 17 YEARS, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THAT CAT. WE WENT THROUGH ALMOST 3 GENERATIONS OF RIDGES, SHE HAD AS MANY AS 4 AROUND HER AT ONE TIME, SHE WAS A SAFE KITTY HERE IN THE WASHINGTON STATE WOODS, AND SHE KNEW IT. CATS ARE A DIFFERENT KIND OF CREATURE, BUT OH I MISS HER.

I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SIAMESE SEALPOINT MIX, MOSTLY SIAMESE, SHE IS ALOOF , LOVING ONLY WHEN SHE WANTS TO BE AND NOT AT ALL LIKE MY MALE ORIENTSAL SHORTHAIR KOKO, THAt I LOST A YEAR A GO AT THE AGE Of 19! JAZZIE DOESN'T MEOW MUCH, BUT PURRS WHEN I HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO PET HER, SHE WILL BE 1 YR OLD SOON, I HOPE SHE BECOMES MORE MELLOW, BUT I HAVE HAD POODLES AND CATS, AND I LOVE ALL ANIMALS, BUT CATS ARE PRETTY ALOOF TO YOUR WISHES, AND DO JUST AS THEY PLEASE. VERY INTERESTING PETS INDEED!!! WE LOVE OUR CAT NO MATTER WHAT HER PERSONALITY IS , AS LONG AS IT'S NOT OUT OF BOUNDS , ETC. BUT THEY ARE INDEPENDENT, ESPECIALLY FEMALES!

I was devistated when she was gone. Still devistated after that 3 months I waited 3 months one week to go to that pet store, was only 1 of 3 pet stores in that whole town and it was off season for kittens too. I went doubting I would see anything at all and I found kittens.......... I asked the sales lady too bad you didnt have a little red male kitten......... she said oh we did last week......... :O I said what what?????? When was he born when when???? When she gave me the date I almost fell down......... it was born the same day my cat died!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was the only male red kitten in all 3 stores! I came a week too late! That was my cat!!!!!!!!!!!! She came back!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear on my life its true! :( :((

Rickmarkson............. awwwwwww how sweet and sad at the same time. I had a kittie who was so like my child I never had to say a word all I'd do is give her a look a nod and shed know where I wanted her to go or sit and shed do it. She died after 10 years with her from breast cancer. :( I miss her. Heres a funny thing that happened. On the day she died just before she died as I was balling my eyes out and she was between this world and the next I told her she better come back to me in 3 months as a little red male kitten at the pet store I always liked to go to. She wagged her tail every time she heard my voice.
