Who knows what the coldest object in space is, and how did they come to this conclusion? I know there is some serious brainwork going on about things such as this, but to convince me, it's going to take a lot more then some geek saying " I know this or that".

"For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries." AresPrometheus SAYS:"..I hope all of you thinking individuals are geared up for the articles about the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.." WE have 10 years to the 50th, we should start working on a flying LM. They built a replica of Columbus' ship and sailed it around for people to see. They should build a replica LM and land it on the mall in DC for the 50th annv, and have actors come out in vintage space suits.. Then have it travel around the country, landing in parks, taking kids up for a ride... That would be awesome!

This may be the coldest object in space, but the coolest object in space, hands down, is the Chuck Berry record velcroed on the side of the Voyager space probe! Go Johnny Go!
