Cats are the cleanest creatures there are. HUMANS cause and transmit far more diseases than other species except possibly for fleas, roaches, and rodents, and even then, they are carriers, just like every living being is, of bacteria. Yes, dogs are very dirty animals. So are swine. But most people who have lived with cats are among the healthiest of people! Studies prove they have increased tolerance to illnesses others do not, such as allergies. These kinds of articles use scare tactics and are extremely negative. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing! Why not write about the BENEFITS of living with cats and other animals? They are many!

In January I had one of my cats neutered. WIthin two days he was sick. Took him the vet. He got an upper respiratory infection from when he was neutered. Had to give him meds. On day two when he was getting his pill he got a hold of my finger and sunk his fang into it. The pain was unreal. I have had animals for 40 years and been nipped once or twice but never had pain like this. Few hours later my finger swelled, after work I went to the ER. They said it was very bad and that I might loose my finger and might need surgery if swelling didn't go down. Got a shot of meds and pills to take. By the morning my finger was twice the size it was the day before. Went to ER again and was put on an IV right away and after that was done I had to go see the hand surgeon who had to operated on my finger right away, I walked around with a drain in it for over a week. She told me I might loose the finger because the infection was so bad. After two weeks of going everyday to the doctor the finger was...

I did get my comment chopped, so I will finish my point. These stories are all a form of Propaganda, but for profits. The fight is on to open the Mexican border so their truck drivers can use our roads without the same safety and training requirements US Driver have to abide by. So now, any trucking articles are blaming American Truck Drivers for anything, and everything. These are the same Company's that moved to Mexico, and left hundreds of thousands AMERICANS Jobless. Now they want to take more jobs away, all for bigger profits, and put millions of American motorist at risk on our roads with Mexican Truck Drivers that don't even know what a drug test is, or how long you can legally drive for! Mexico is a country that only knows what a bribe is. It's how this country runs. These corporations have Mexico wrapped around their little finger.

Heres my Personal take on MRSA and pets. In 2005 I started out with a rash that I got from someone else, from there I got major Staph Infections all around my lower body. I was given Bactroban to use in my Nostrils, as a prevention from getting them again. Did not work. We have a Dog, who of course is a licker..I believe that she spread the MRSA back to me, 2 of my daughters and my grandson..this went on for over 4 years..We have been trying to break the dog from licking, and keeping the dog away from the Grandsons face..We have not had any outbreaks in a while. I do believe the Dog was/is the Culprit!!!

I like Dmfernandez613 posts. What's really behind these stories, Money for Pharmaceutical Company's, that have as much control of our Government now, as the Oil Company's do.I'm always amazed to see the reactions of people when they read or see these stories, of how seriously they take it! Then there's the types, that if the symptoms were printed here, thousands would be running to their doctors, clinics, or hospitals. It's all a form of Propaganda, but for profits. The fight is on to open the Mexican border so their truck drivers can use our roads without the same safety requirements US Driver have to abide by.
