I don't know why some people cannot read a warm, happy story like this without trashing it. Aren't some people tired of reading about MJ and his drug woes, war, serial killers, the economy? We need some feel good stories right now.

I recall a couple of years ago, I think, a photographer caught a series of pictures of something exactly like this. A mother duck walked over a grate with 5 ducklings following obediently. In the second picture, there were only 4 ducklings; only 3 in the third picture, and so on until the last picture showed Mama looking forlornly into the grate. Fortunately, the photographer and others removed the grate and reunited the Mama with her kids. All was well, but just looking at the pictures were both hilarious and precious. It was, indeed, like something you would only see in a cartoon.

Actually, this is exactly what we need right now...a little humanity and compassion. I'm sick of hearing about impending doom or the spiraling economy. Just because we as humans can't get our act together doesn't mean we should send the animals down the river too. Humanity could use a little dose of "chill the **** out" and learn to appreciate the small things... I love this story!
