Ashley2100, It takes one to know one. This family are all clean and well dressed far from white trash. The house that the family lives in is paid for and that is more than most of you can say. It is no ones business how many kids that they have as long as they can take care of them. I have friends that know the family and say that they are all just the same even when the cameras ar off

After giving birth to 18 babies, that mother must have a "womb with a view"! Phew!! All I can say is, better her than me!!!

For all of you who think that instead of giving birth to their own biological children, they should adopt children who need a loving home.... have YOU done this yourselves?? You make is sound so easy - "Oh hey,.. we will just give a child a loving home and everything will be all right with the world". Unless you have done this yourselves, then you don't realize how hard of a job this is. Children that come from the system come complete with a large amount of baggage and issues. Giving them a loving home doesn't fix it. Not everyone is cut out to deal with it. I do it every day with the children in my home..... unless you have done it yourself, stop recommending it to others. It's not for everyone.BTW,... I have read the Duggar's book and have seen their specials on television. Although I do think that 18 is an awful lot of children to have, I certainly don't see anything wrong with their lifestyle. If only all families could live debt free, show some morals and pull their video-game,...

They have way too many. These parents cannot possibly PARENT. A great deal of the care is given by the older siblings... Do these people expect to live in their own little world forever??

For the good of the world, I think all countries should limit child production..! Even here in America. One immediate area that needs law & strict regulation is in-vitro fertilization, etc. when these women are having 4 to 8 children at a time!! Does anyone concern themselves with overpopulation? Overpopulation. Or are all these people just that SELFISH, & feel the need to overproduce at such an unhealthy rate for the rest of the world? It's really not fair in the overall view of things. Be fruitful & multiple in MODERATION, just as with everything else!!!

RBeccajoy01 writes:Why do you judge this family? =========================Why? Because we are already overpopulated, that's why. If they wanted children so bad, why didn't they adopt some child that needed a loving home? I call it selfishness on their part.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT THAT THE DUGGERS ARE HAVING CHILDREN,THAT IS THEIR RIGHT. THE PROBLEM IS THEY ARE NOT RAISING THEM...THEIR CHILDREN ARE.THE OLDER CHILDREN ARE SET INTO SLAVE MODE WITH EVERY CHILD THEY HAVE THAT THEY HAS TWO PEOPLE,COULD NOT POSSIBLY EVEN CARE FOR IN A BASIC WAY.SOME WHERE ALONG THE LINE THERE WILL BE A REBELLION.WHAT THEN?THESE KIDS DONT HAVE TIME TO GET ANYTHING ELSE DONE .ALL THEY DO IS COOK ,CLEAN DIAPER, DRESS ,ETC.....THEIR EDUCATION HAS TO SUFFER.NOT TO MENTION THE TIME ALONE TO BUILD A WELL FORMED PHYCHE.WHAT WE SEE ON TV,IS NOT ALWAYS WHAT REALLY HAPPENS...WOULD YOU NOT PUT THE BEST FACE ON THINGS FOR THE CAMERA?THESE CHILDREN ARE HERD ANIMALS.

SeventhSail99 :The Duggars don't parent. They pop out children for the attention then hand them off to someone else to raise. They're irresponsible and selfish.>>>>> THAT WAS IRRESPONSIBLE to say that. They take care of their own kids, pay for their own bills, and themother HOMESCHOOLS all the kids. Would YOU do that? I know I don't have what it takes to do that.
