Ellen DeGeneres takes pride in her ability to scare the dickens out of her guests. Whether she's crouched in the bathroom or hiding under something, the TV host's ability to make her guests jump in fear -- and then laugh in humiliation -- is uncanny, and makes for some quality television. Thanks to her scared-to-the-floor ambush on Taylor Swift last week, we've compiled Ellen's finest fear-inducing moments!
Last week, Ellen's victim was the innocent (and recently Kanye'd) Taylor Swift. As Taylor made her way into the green room bathroom, Ellen sat crouched in the corner just to the left of the door. Once Taylor was inside the room, Ellen jumped out with a screeching yell, causing Taylor to fall to the floor in fear. Thankfully, she was a good sport, quickly started laughing and hugged it out with the sneaky host.

"I was nervous because she really hit that floor hard. She fell and hit her knee and I thought, 'Oh, she's young. She'll be fine,'" Ellen said after showing the segment to the crowd.

DeGeneres has a long history of scaring her guests, employees and pretty much anyone who isn't paying attention. Her own staff often turns the tables and does their best to freak out Ellen. Behold, the Best 'Ellen' Scare Moments:
