The USA states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were occupied and partialy owned by Mexico prior to the American-Mexican war in the late 1800's. Even though the War was declared a victory by America and Texas and California were released by Mexico in a money deal to end the war the people remained if they wanted to. Therefore generations of Mexicans populated these states. With the lack of proper border controls and deportation the Mexican population has boomed and illegals flood into the states including tons of criminals from Mexico. Never ceases to amaze me how many racists come out of the woodwork. A human shot at a law enforcement human which could have been anyone of us. Surely if he would shoot at an armed cop he would shoot at anyone of us unarmed humans. Hopefully he will now be brought back to the U.S. and face his charges. PERIOD.
