Mark Philippoussis was offered the choice of kitten or cougar, but the '
Age of Love' star went in another direction: he proposed to actress
Jennifer Esposito. The Australian professional tennis star, 32, and Esposito, 36, were engaged this summer.
"They are happily engaged and enjoying their time together," his rep tells
PEOPLE.
Esposito, who has appeared on 'Samantha Who?,' 'Rescue Me' and in the Paul Haggis film 'Crash,' was previously married to 'Hangover' actor Bradley Cooper. The couple called it quits after just four months of marriage in 2007.
Philippoussis selected 20-something contestant Amanda Salinas to win his reality dating show. The athlete was tasked with choosing between a number of women in their 20s and 40s. At the time, PEOPLE reports, he described himself as " a simple guy who wants a simple girl."
