Earlier this year, Megan Fox was quoted as saying some not-so-nice things about 'Transformers,' the blockbuster hit that made her a household name. Many pegged Fox as ungrateful, including members of the film's crew and director Michael Bay himself, but the sexy star defended her position on the movie while accepting an award at the Spike TV Scream Awards this past Saturday. When Fox accepted her award for Best Sci-Fi Actress at the fourth annual Scream Awards, she decided to take the opportunity to clear up her stance on the 'Transformers' franchise.
"I don't usually do this, but I wanted to say something," she said. "There have been a lot of false reports about how I feel about this movie. I just want to be very clear that I've always felt I'm a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film."
She continued to acknowledge what the film did for her career.
"The movie took me out of obscurity and gave me a career, and I'm completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise."

But while previously promoting 'Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen,' Fox's comments didn't exactly make that clear. On CBS's 'Early Show' this summer, Fox suggested the sequel made no sense.
"I'm in the movie and I read the script and I watched the movie and I still didn't know what was happening," Fox said. "I don't know how you saw it in IMAX without having a brain aneurysm or at least a migraine headache!"
More recently, in an interview with Wonderland Magazine, Fox compared Bay to dictators like Napoleon and Hitler when asked what he was like to work with. But she also said that Bay has "no social skills."
"God, I really wish I could go loose on this one," she began. "He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward."
Her comments didn't sit well with the film's crew. In a letter from three crew members, Fox was called "dumb as a rock", "the grump of the set", "the queen of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star" and "as about ungracious a person as you can ever fathom."
Then, on day one of shooting for the third 'Transformers' installment, Bay posted a special message to Fox on his Web site, signaling that their beef is over -- at least, for now.
"P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you."
The release date for the next film is set for July 1, 2010.
