(March 27) -- Authorities in Tracy, Calif., are searching for an 8-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday afternoon.
Sandra Cantu vanished from the Orchard Estates mobile home park sometime after she returned home from school. Police said she went to see a friend who lives in the park around 3 p.m. and was last seen near her own home at 4 p.m.

Missing Children Cases
Nevaeh Buchanan: The 5-year-old girl was last seen May 24 outside the apartment building where she lived with her mother in Monroe, Mich. Two fishermen found her body June 4 on the banks of the River Raisin in Monroe. Police have questioned two registered sex offenders described as friends of Nevaeh's mother but no arrests have been made.

Sandra is Hispanic, 4 feet tall, and weighs 45 pounds. She was dressed in a pink Hello Kitty T-shirt and black leggings.
"She's a very friendly girl and I just pray she's OK. If she's out there, we just want her to come home," Sandra's aunt Angie Chavez told ABC affiliate News10.
The Tracy Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding Sandra. The FBI, California Highway Patrol, and other agencies are assisting in the search.
