Golan Heights. Great location for Assad's Hizbolla pimps to launch Iranian rockets.Assad was behind Hizbolla's kidnapping of the Israeli border patrol soldiers. For that alone, the Golan should NEVER be an option for those who violate decency.

Syria, who is funding and orchestrating Hamas and Hizbolla's terror campaigns@islam.com, LOST THE GOLAN HEIGHTS. End of story. The Syrians thought they could, along with their terrorist brothers, murder and defeat Israel.They were dead wrong - outnumbered as the Israelis were, they won against the attacker, and the land is theirs. They made a peace agreement with Egypt, which was honorably and faithfully maintained, and the land in question was returned to Egypt > to the letter, and in accordance with their word. Israel has proven it's intention and ability to keep peace for decades > Egypt is proof of it. Syria has no integrity, nor honor. What Assad in complicity with Iran have perpetuated against the Christians and other faiths of Lebanon, is vile and disgusting, the mindset of twisted and criminally perverted criminals. No Golan for Syria. When you wage a fight and lose it > you do not get rewarded for bad behaviour.

I have no objections to a Greater Israel. Grab as much land as you can, but do it without our help. We are tapped out. If all of your neighbors attack you at the same time, I'm certain the IDF will handle everything just fine on their own. When you think you have enough land, all the world's jews can move there and live happily ever after. If we tossed out every jew that has loyalties to Israel first, there would be few jews left here. If it isn't a deportable offense to have dual citizenship and loyalties to another country first, it should be. If they want to lobby for Israel, then move there. If they want to send money to kill Palestinian children for Israel, then move there. If they want to spy for Israel, then move there. If they want to promote multiculturalism , then do so in Israel. We should not be forced to have a dog in any more of your fights.

Sami you need to read your history, there was not one american soldier fighting in any war in Israel. Israel was one again attacked by surprise and america withheld supplies of arms to israel in an attempt to control the war..once needed arms were delivered and israel was able to suppress the surprise atttack israel retaliated and won. and your figure of 95% OF THE ISRAELI ARMY BEING KNOCKED OUT IS FLAT OUT WRONG

Sami you need to read your history, there was not one american soldier fighting in any war in Israel. Israel was one again attacked by surprise and america withheld supplies of arms to israel in an attempt to control the war..once needed arms were delivered and israel was able to suppress the surprise atttack israel retaliated and won. and your figure of 95% OF THE ISRAELI ARMY BEING KNOCKED OUT IS FLAT OUT WRONG

Z lil sami they are dum comments? Learn to spell. They are not dumb comments, dummy. Aside from that do you write your own history books? The Arabs brought Israel to its knees? You must love science fiction books. The Arabs couldn't bring their camels to their knees. The Americans fought the war for them? You must be reading Arab history books written by the Saudis. BTW, the Americans had to fight the Iraqis for the Saudis and Kuwaitis, but they certainly didn't fight for the Israelis. The only way the Arabs know how to fight is though terrorism and blowing up innocent people with suicide bombs. Z lil sami, living in a fantasy world.

Syria should negotiate face to face but they won't. By the same token Netnayahu should declare beforehand that if so he will gladly return the Golan as a demilitarized zone in return for an exchange of ambassadors. Instead he will get into a debate with Assad over Hamas which, while valid, can be immaterial with a peace deal. But Syria is very reluctant to get pinned down and will avoid direct peace talks. Both Israel and the Arabs are always jockying for position. Obama knows this and is pinning Isreal down in particular. The strategic importance of the Golan militarily is a mute point with todays technology.
