Count on a politician to exploit the death of a prominent and famous celebrity to advance his own cause and make himself look more favorable to the public. Disgusting.

You don't suppose that Obama is dancing to Thriller in the White House even as we speak, grabbing his crotch as Michael did, instead of looking at the Dow Jones Industrials? This is obviously not the man to save America. He doesn't even have the common sense to lie about his musical preferences.

Musiclady401 09:08 PMJul 03 2009 he grew up listening to a child molester? what about condolences to farrah faucet, or david caridene? oh thats right i forgot they are WHITE!******************* Let me first say that I am white, so don't accuse me of defending him because he is black. 2nd.. it is Fawcett... not faucet (those are on your bathroom sink) and it was Carradine. Finally, try reading the ENTIRE article before going off on some racist rant. "Obama added that Thursday's interview was the first time he had been asked about Jackson's death." That would lead one to assume that his comments were in response to a direct question about Michael Jackson. Perhaps they didn't ask him about the others who have passed away recently or perhaps he did comment about them as well, but those comments weren't included in this article since this short article was about his comments about one person only. Stop jumping to conclusions.

Like most Americans, Obama is either completely ignorant or in denial about the widespread prevalence of noise-induced hearing loss in America. In 2001, the CDC estimated that there were 5.2 million American kids and adolescents afflicted with noise-induced hearing loss and loud music is mostly to blame. I never bought any of Jacko's recordings nor went to his concerts, but I assume that his performances were as loud as any other pop entertainer of his time. How many Americans did Jacko inflict with noise-induced hearing loss?
