Obama staying at home after his big Afghan speech

WASHINGTON -After his big Afghanistan war speech at West Point, President Barack Obama plans to be largely out of sight Wednesday at the White House.
He and Vice President Joe Biden will get their daily briefing this morning in the Oval Office, and will have a private lunch. Later, Obama will get his daily economic briefing and meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office.
The president also has a meeting scheduled with Democratic Sen. Evan Bayh (BY) of Indiana and Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.
