hats off to cindyffl.......................He definetly has a mental disorder. Anyone thatknows anything about sociopathic disorders knows that animal cruelty ranks highas one of the symptoms. Usually friends ( if he had any ) can sometimes help watch pets for vacations etc, Being a fireman im sure he had options as theyare all brothers. WHO in that town is going to trust him in their house ? I surewouldn't. I just feel that he is capable of far more than this, as there definetlyis something wrong with this man. VERY SCAREY !!!

This type of cruelty is a sign of a very sick individual. Anyone defending such actions or thinks that this behavior is not reprehensible needs to have their head examined.Society does not need this type of person walking or working next to regular law biding folks. He should be fired. It is a no brainer. He is just like Vick...a Vick in training if you will and left to himself would no doubt continue along the same course of torture and killing. He has serious mental disorders and he needs to be observed. If you think that this abuse and lack of emotion will not carry on into his family life with a wife and children then I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I would like to sell you.

"It's the same old story. They couldn't care less about people and they love animals," lawyer Sam Shamansky said.MAYBE THAT'S BECAUSE ANIMALS DON'T TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY. PEOPLE ARE CAPABLE OF HELPING THEMSELVES, AND ANIMALS DEPEND ON PEOPLE TO FEED THEM, CARE FOR THEM, PROVIDE FOR THEM AND LOVE THEM. VERY SIMPLE IF YOU ASK ME!!! I HAVE MORE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS BECAUSE STUPID PEOPLE LIKE THIS GUY DON'T DESERVE COMPASSION. PATHETIC.

You people demanding he goes to prison sicken me.A dog is an animal. An animal that you own.I believe you fully have the right to do with what you own in ways you seem fit.The only thing he should be charged for, is the makeshift silencer.Thats very illegal. The dogs were his property, he disposed of them. The end.

This guy is as bad as michael vick... He should have to serve a minimum of two years in prision... one year for each dog. And yes, he should loose his job because he dumped them in a trash bin behind the firehouse. I don't trust anyone who could do such a horrible thing.

HE COULD NOT afford to board them yet he could afford the cruise!!!????? He should go to jail for a VERY Long TIme !!!!!!! He must have also been a terrible pet owner when they were alive because he apparently joked about all of this to his fellow firemen ,and they turned in one of their own ! Iam so proud of you REAL MEN to do the right thing by reporting him to the proper animal cruelty services!!! THANK YOU FELLOW FIREMEN and WOMEN !!!

I went to the Columbus Dispatch website to see if I could find any more on this story but before I could, a link to a Cleveland newspaper story jumped out at me : "NAACP: Woman accused of killing fawn faced city bias." Then I remembered seeing a story on AOL about an old lady who beat a fawn to death with a shovel for coming into her garden. I thought she was a cruel and crazy old b***h when I read the story and I had no idea she was black. But now that I know, I still think she's a crazy old b***h, only now I'm a "racist." Here is the link if you're interested: http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2009/07/naacp_comes_to_defense_of_doro.h tml BTW, the crazy dog-killing bast**d (whose race I don't know nor do I care) is "appealing his dismissal" so at least he did get fired. I'd say I'm glad I don't live in Ohio but unfortunately I do....
