PHILADELPHIA -A fired airline worker is "mortified" at the lapse in judgment that led him to help a friend get an unloaded gun on a plane, his lawyer said.

It's easy to check your firearms in with the desk. You just have to have the weapon and the ammo in separate locked compartments. No need to risk arrest for something so stupid.
