First why dosen't the President do something with Pelousi, some of her democrate co- hearts state she covered up mistakes and every one turns a blind eye. Regarding Michael Jackson King of Pop he was proven not guilty at the hearing so why don't people just let it go and leave Michael in peace. It was very unnecessary for her to bring this up.Michael did good in the world, he broke racial barriers, was a humanitarian, kind and giving plus a good farther.MJ should be honored and awarded as an American Icon and Humanitarian.Michael Jackson was the best entertainer and we will probably never see another great one for a very long time if ever.I also hope that the doctors are put in jail for creating his problem with perscription drugs. This needs to stop before more people die.It saddens my heart of his tragic and too soon death I hope Michael is in peace and rockin the heavens and pray the judge makes the right decission regarding his three children.God bless Michael Jackso...

A sensible plan, shutting down a resolution that would make saluting someone under the cloud of child molestation allegations and drug abuse part of the national record. Individual moments of silence and speeches by those who admired his good works are the way to go on this one.

God, now I hate her even more....and a note to Ms. Pelosi, you might want to stop with the plastic surgery yourself Nancy...your starting to look ridiculous. Her eyes look like they are stapled up to high, like she can't shut them. Michael in every way deserves to be recognized for his amazing humanitarian efforts, what has that rag Nancy ever done for anyone.

Nancy Pelosi has no backbone, never has and never will. She told the American people how she was going to hold GWBush accountable for his actions. But as we all now see, she did nothing. What was the point of announcing there wouldn't be a formal Resolution for MJ? She acts afraid of that bully King, who people in NY should be embarrassed by. What seating lawmaker would get on UTube and rant/rave about MJ who just passed away. What about his greiving family/children, it's all about tearing down MJ. MJ has become the person, some people love to hate, because they never accomplished anything worthwhile in their lives, and probably never will, so they get pleasure on making MJ their punching bag. You can tell how much people were loved by who shows/stands up for you when you pass on. The people who are making all these negative comments are definitely in the minority. MJ was loved by millions, he deserved to be called King of Pop, he deserved to be called a American Icon, and he deserves ...

I disagree that MJ was just an entertainer. MJ broke racial barriers, and that's more than being an entertainer. MJ used his star power to help others, and Many people speak about MJ, w/o having a clue how much of a humanitarian he was. As far as Sheila being an embarrassment to Texas, I hope you are including GWBush on that list as well.

I am just glad to see Black people showing the world that we have unconditional love, without prejudice! To honour Micheal Jackson for his contributions to this rich and wealthy world (well part of it) like it is said ONE IS INNOCENT TO PROVED GUILTY how ever the media likes to spread prejudice, Maybe they make money out of Prejudice Outcomes ??A man is dead! show some respect we all have a right to be at peace let GOD alone judge the dead & humanity just carry on stagnating on the negatives.Micheal Jackson was great not even I have got that far yet. he was a musical Icon He was a MESSAGE maybe it is we that did not see the signs. He was a HUMANITARIAN and the one who pulled his family closer together. Life is sad when the good always die young, and it takes death for us to see.I do not think there's anyone among the debater's that will have such a powerful send off.I think the World forgot who Micheal really was. He was the Black man who gave the europeans rhythm. J S Mc

OK. I've been biting my tongue on this issue far too long. What parent, in their RIGHT mind, would take a bribe if an ADULT man physically or emotionally hurt their child?? Seriously? You strip my child of their innocence and I strip you of your LIFE. No sane parent of a child who was ACTUALLY abused settles for the cash. You go for the jugular!!! More than public humiliation you get a conviction. So, there's no money in the conviction itself. In this country you can prosecute the man and whether or not he's found guilty, you can be awarded money through a civil suit. With the atrocious allegations and settlement having already transpired, IF you were a parent and allowed your child to be alone with the accused, & your child told you it happened to them, charges should be filed on YOU and the attacker. BUT,with the allegations that have already been leveled upon him and a dimmed view in the public eye, if you can't get your claims to stick: HE PROBABLY DIDN'T DO IT!!Greed & Jealousy.
