PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (July 13) -- A suburban Philadelphia man has agreed to take anger management classes for blaring a pornographic movie soundtrack to chase away kids playing outside his home.

Michael Buck was arrested May 31 at his upscale Phoenixville cul-de-sac after irate neighbors told police they could hear the sexually explicit audio a block-and-a-half away.
Cpl. Mike Barrett, who responded to initial noise complaint, said there was an ongoing problem between Buck and neighborhood parents, The Mercury, of Pottstown, Pa., reported. "Buck, who has no children, has issues with the neighborhood children playing and riding their bikes in the cul-de-sac," he said, according to court records. "On this day, there were eight children playing around (the area)."
Barrett said parents informed him of "a woman vocalizing her pleasure during sexual intercourse" played over a stereo system from Buck's house on the evening of May 31. "The pornographic movie/ recording continued approximately 15 minutes until the parents took all of their children inside their homes. Once all of the children were taken inside, Buck turned off the recording," Barrett said.
Buck will perform 20 hours of community service in addition to his anger management classes, under the terms of a 90-day agreement reached in court Thursday. The Mercury reported the terms also included a mental health evaluation for the 27-year-old man.
If Buck complies with the terms, he'll return to court in October and plead guilty to a noise violation charge. He had faced more serious charges of corruption of minors and disorderly conduct.
Neighbors at the hearing said they're satisfied with the agreement.
"It was very uncomfortable," one neighbor said of the situation to The Mercury. "We want our kids to be safe."

A Preventable Crime? Prosecutors asked that a judge lock up Isaiah M.K. Kalebu, who was out on bail pending trial for charges he threatened to kill his mother, after a suspicious fire at his aunt's house killed two people. Six days later, on July 19, authorities say Kalebu stabbed a 39-year-old woman to death. For that alleged crime, a judge set the bail at $10 million on July 25.

Hey, if you don't like kids playing in the neighborhood, you don't buy or rent a house in that area. Simple. It is obviously a family neighborhood and he must have known that coming in.

I don't support the decision of the court. And I certainly cannot condone this man's actions. I too am tired of children running the world but this was not the way to deal with this issue. The man buys a house in a cul de sac of families he needs to expect there will be children outside and playing. Nowhere in the article does it say the kids were trespassing on his property, thus they were on public grounds and he has no say over that. I don't see this so much as an issue between kids and the man as I do the parents and this man. Too many parents allow their children to do what they wish with no regard for the privacy of others. Kids do what their parents allow them to get away with. If they know their children are disrupting a neighbor they see it as the child's right to do what they want. There could have been a compromise struck here and both sides of this issue blew it.

Interesting how one can air the massmurder of innocent people with no one blinking a eye. But sexual intercourse: In Prudish America the sounds of passion are a crime.

I am glad I read the blogs and saw that people were on the man's side too. Kid do rule the world. I for one am sick of them being allowed to be disrespectful of the rights of adults. This man obviously tried to rectify this disruptive behavior by addressing the parents. I bet those parents bad mouthed him in front of the kids and basically gave them permission to be disrespectful to him to the point of frustration. Punishment seems a little harsh. The disturbance only went on for fifteen minutes and stopped as soon as the parents removed the kids from the problem. Guess what, now the kids think they OWN the cul de sac. Attention: Kids don't own a damn thing. They pay for nothing, and don't understand privacy or personal responsibility. That neighborhood better watch out, if I were that man I would be thinking up some legal ways to annoy my neighbors to the point of wanting to move!!!

Kids rule the world. Want to get a bill passed? Say its for the kids or schools. Want to get thrown in jail? Give them a nasty look. What about the kids? 25 killed in a bus crash ( including 2 kids ) guess the kids are more important. I think the porn soundtrack is a fantastic idea. Only way to get the parents to get them away. Funny part about it is that by the time the brats are 10 they'll be making their own soundtracks with video and posting them on the internet. Awwww the little angels. Whatever

I guess with being a mom of 4 (grown) kids that I always kept a great eye on them. I made sure they NEVER bothered the neighbors and now living in an apartment complex where there are no rules for keeping kids under control I get his side of it.A person should be able to enjoy peace and quiet in their own home. As much right as the kids have to play.

I don't think it's the kids' fault in this case because it's a cul-de-sac, the houses basically surround the street so anything the kids do can be seen (or heard) by everyone on the street. As long as the kids weren't obnoxiously loud, it's porno-man who went overboard.@Adamantthe1st21This is not the place for politics. Also, please go back to high school and retake English, and please buy a new keyboard or repair your Caps lock key.

He should have played some gay porn! Then waited to see which kids came up to the house to look in the windows. That would shame any lazy father.
