That's just instinct, not love in a human sense! Yes, dogs will fawn over their owners, but that's because they're being FED! And since when does an animal "understand the difference (note the correct spelling) between right and wrong? Animals are not SENTIENT the way we are - of course they dont understand that kind of comcept!...So,what exactly are you saying,so if they don't understand love exactly the same way we do,they don't deserve to be treated humanely? And how do you know we don't cry for all of those euthanized dogs and cats? I agree that they don't understand between right and wrong,not in the same sense as us

THe ONLY reason dogfighting is illegal is because people gamble on it and the government doesnt get its cut!Suppose it was RATS fighting - would anyone care then? OF COURSE NOT - we view rats as vermin and pests! But some people want to put DOGS on a pedestal!...Yep that's where my dogs live,on a pedestal.If you don't like these stories then just go away.Oh wait I forgot,you are only here to antagonize folks.What a moron

Gee, with all the expensive mandatory spay/neuter sweeping the nation and people unable to afford it, no wonder increases for animal shelters are sky high.Its NOT the breeders who if they are caring and conscientious, contributing to the problem. Its the people who can afford but don't, spay or neuter.with all the mandatory spay/neuter passing, not ONE program is designated to help poor people sterlize their pets. the economy is killing the pets and their owners.

This is a multi-million dollar thing. For the person who wanted to blame Mexicans... You have to be kidding... Most os these people are White men. David Tant was the 3rd wealthest of dog fighters in this country... It is organized and they are all over... Sorry, White males, have this henious action in their controls... I mean, they are at the top... You can't blame everything on Mexicans or non-White people... This has been going on forever... Vick was small compared to some of these people...

Big foot (and head) Whatever money the HSUS or the SPCA has, it is spent on the dogs that the dregs of society mistreat and abandon. People who participate in dogfighting; holding dogfights, or attending dog fights, are far more viscious than any pit bull. They are greedy, money hungry, dishonest bottom feeders, who are too lazy to get an honest job. They use and abuse animals, and push drugs because they always try to take the easy way to make money; easy for them. They torture and abuse these dogs to make them mean, ruin lives with the drugs they push, and couldn't care less. Pit Bulls are born just as sweet as any othe breed, and have to be forced to fight by being abused and trained to attack other dogs. Pit Bulls that have not been bred and trained to fight, make wonderful pets. The fact that some of the Pit Bulls taken from these people have been rehabilitated and adopted, and have turned out to be great dogs, given lots of love and GOOD treatment, proves this to be true. The pit bulls' seizure comes as U.S. shelters are inundated with abandoned dogs and cats, 3.7 million of which are euthanized each year because they can't find homes.--------------and people cry about dogfighting?

I HAVE WORKED IN ANIMAL HOSPITALS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND I TRUST PET PIT BULLS MORE THAN I DO CHIHUAHUAS OR JINDOS. I THINK THAT THE PIT BULL FIGHTERS SHOULD BE PUT ON AN ISLAND ALONG WITH THE GANG MEMBERS, MURDERERS, PEDOPHILES, AND RAPISTS AND LET THEM KILL EACH OTHER UNTIL THEY ARE GONE. OR ELSE, IF THEY HAVE CHILDREN, GIVE THE YOUNG CHILDREN KNIVES AND LET THEIR PARENTS WATCH THEM FIGHT EACH OTHER. BECAUSE OF THEIR GENES, THEY ARE MOST LIKELY TO TURN OUT BAD ALSO.
