Every family in OK should have a weather radio, and it will signal loudly to help you get to safety, no matter the time of day or night. We should have laws in OK that requires all new construction to have a tornado shelter included, and every trailer park should have a tornado shelter. All new construction should include bracing that is bolted when constructing walls and roofs. We see photos of boards with nails everywhere, and that's because they don't hold. Even the multi-million dollars homes in OKC were not built well. Some builders do build homes that will withstand very high winds and there is more cost involved, but in the long run, it's worth it. We have the best weather people in the world in OKlahoma, and we can track tornados block by block. Many lives are saved because of their tireless efforts.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the hearty folks of Oklahoma. In the past you've shown the world that you can go through worse than this. I have no doubt that you'll prevail again. God's grace be with you.

TOO MANY HOMES BEING BUILT NOW-A-DAYS ARE BEING BUILT WITHOUT BASEMENTS - AND OF COURSE MOBILE HOMES NEVER HAVE THEM. SO HOW WILL PEOPLE GET TO SAFETY IN A MATTER OF MINUTES OR SECONDS WITHOUT THAT SAFETY-NET BASEMENTS PROVIDE?
