This is EXACTLY why the United States needs to have an "English rule" implemented in TORT REFORM. Imagine everyone and their grandmother suing you for political reasons and the astronomical costs involved with defending yourself, (in this case exceeding 500K ). With the English rule, you lose....you pay ALL costs involved.....an end to FRIVOLOUS LAWSUITS! But don't look for the current administration who've been purchased by the trial lawyers in this country. Yes the chief executive when asked about bring down the cost of healthcare by capping claims and rewards for these parasites stated "he wasn't going there". Hopefully her resignation will bring some recognition to this plague of sue happy lawyers and correction of this insult to the American people.

Is this the same Carl Rove that exposed CIA agents working undercover? This guy should have been waterboarded, then banned from Washington for life.........

I don't feel Gov. Sarah Palin has been given a fair shake. What has she done so wrong? When she was going strong as V.P. it seemed every one was pulling on her skirt to be apart of the victory. The Gov. did'nt win and now the bashing.Ok,What has Gov.Sarah Palin done?To start with she is the youngest Gov. in Alaskas history, made way for the american people to use it's natural resores by paving the way for oil drilling, which will cause the oil giants to reduce prices. There are other things as well..Try looking up Gov. Sarah Palins and see just what all she has done.George Bush and his pass has us in this mess.Obama,Well your grandkids, kids will still be paying for this one. There is no one person to point the finger at.Really don't blame the Gov. to want to stept down due to the constant bashing and the stress on her and her family.Rove, and Huckabee should see this and add fuel to the fire to look good. It'll come back to haunt you.Like General McAuther said in relating to Palin, she is not re...

Why wait until July 26? Quit now, Sarah, the sooner the better. Alaska will be better off without you. You are the most clueless, narcisstic, ignorant, egotistical airhead ever seen on the national political stage. The media hasn't been unfair to you, they have only reported what you did and said throughout, your own words and actions. YOU, Sarah, were the problem. Your ignorance and egotism were revealed time and time again, because YOU are those things. You will never be presidential material, ever. Why? Because you don't even realize your own limitations, and so you won't do anything to be ready. I see you headed for the book and speech tour racket, with a news show on Faux news to follow. Don't let the door hit you in the ass, quit now. Loser.

chivasregal56, well, BECAUSE of Palin, rape victims in Alaska have to PAY for their OWN rape kits. BECAUSE of Palin, wolves and other wild animals are being brutally murdered in Alaska. If you or anyone else thinks aerial "hunting" is a sport, you need to think again. Palin is NOT a true hunter...she is barbaric. I liked her until I found out some of her views on womens' rights and her hatred for wildlife. I do not believe her stupid reasons for resigning either, but I don't care..Alaska is far better off without her at the helm. I am very conservative, but Palin turns my stomach with her ignorant remarks and lack of knowledge of things that any viable candidate for a future as president or vice president of this country should have.

President Palin ? Are we kidding ourselves? Now that would be a desperate move for the Grand Ole Party in 2012.
