I was so glad to hear that this heartless person who went on a kiling spree was found and administered justice to on a swift basis. However, please do not lull yourselves into thinking that now your communities are safe. They are NOT! Please keep your doors and windows locked at night and when you are away from your homes. The economy and drug addiction is such that no one is safe from people who are broke and/or need drugs. People are losing their jobs by the hundreds, if not thousands. Peoples homes are foreclosed on right and left, leaving them homeless. It's going to get a whole lot worse out there, folks before it gets (if ever) any better. Just don't be lulled into thinking you are now safe because 'one' killer is off the streets. There are plenty more to take his place. Just be careful.

The small town police did a great job and the suspect was a ticking time bomb from the moment he was released. The big question now is how did he ever get hold of a gun if his criminal record was pages long? Whoever gave him the gun should be held accountable to an extent.

The photo they have of him must be an old mug shot, it looks nothing like the sketch. But, the gun matched so, it must have been him. Way to go police. Still think this should be listed as a spree killer not serial though.

I read earlier that one of the police officer's were shot and he and another officer then returned fire killing the suspect. Hopefully they'll update us on the condition of the injured officer?

Sounds like they got their guy, and two accomplices, it sounds like. Too bad, they did not go ahead and take out the other two while they were at it. Then, we would not have to worry about defending these scum bags at public expense, and then either housing them for years at great expense, or worse yet, some liberal judge release them. Likely, these scum bags were alcoholic and drug crazed addicts. These are the sort of senseless things Crack Heads and Crystal Meth Addicts do. Good job Law Enforcement.

All I know, regardless of the race or the reasons, is that all of us all over the Carolinas are hoping this is the guy that has been murdering people. If so, job well done Officers. At least we would not be footing the bill for his life in prison. To Hell with these freaks, rapists, murderers, etc.
