Shauna Sand has dropped her lawsuit plans over an allegedly unauthorized sex tape... after Vivid Entertainment brought in a handwriting expert to analyze the signature on their contract. A video of Sand having sex with her current boyfriend is set to be released by the production company, and Shauna --
Lorenzo Lamas' ex -- apparently signed off on the project,
TMZ reports.
"Yes I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year. In fact I've made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn't sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out. I am trying to get a hold of my attorney now," she explained to TMZ earlier this month.
However, Vivid believes they have the right to release the tapes.
"We were approached by a third party, who brought us footage of Shauna having sex with her current boyfriend and we were immediately interested in acquiring it ... We're comfortable with our legal position in releasing this footage," founder Steven Hirsch told TMZ initially. After hiring the handwriting expert, Hirsch claims that Sand withdrew the cease and desist letter her lawyer sent Vivid.

Shauna Sand wants to keep a sex tape she made with her current boyfriend off the market, although Vivid Entertainment plans to release it. "Yes I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year. In fact I've made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn't sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out," she said.
