Americans should be very careful whom they vote for President. Vietnam was a horrendous decision based on a false premise. Donald Rumsfeld was a career politician without any ability to run or direct a successful business much less a war. McNamara should have stayed at Ford. Americans lost a lot and got nothing from these men. Who can forget Iraq so quickly? Remember when you vote "vote your conscience.

At least this guy had remorseEveryone KNOWs that the real remorseless architect of the Vietnam War is Bastard Henry Kissinger. Kissinger needs to be tried for War Crimes for the Millions he murdered. He is Hitler. The fact he's a Jew is very ironic. If South Asians want to vent their anger at the Millions Killed in the Genocide - DIRECT at Henry Kissinger - he is the rasputin-like figure who was responsible - whipsering missinformation in pyschologically messed up Richard Nixon's ear.

93,...lived a long life, a troubled one, but long. He did his best. Now, all his questions ar4e answered, he walks in the light. We do NOT speak ill of the dead. Maybe ignorant people do, but those of us - those who walk upright and pay attention to higher senient details, we do not speak ill of the dead, eh? Go in peace, Robert. You tried harder than many of the fools here who mock you.....

Really at least he served his nation. How many people would give up millions to work for OUR country? And remember he was part of a democratic administration. You bunch of tree huggers. I suggest you all grab a weapon and stand a line before you take shots at an American that tried to better his nation.

GING SIMS - McNamara was a full blooded Republican - not a Democrat. What matters is that no matter who was in power we couldn't win a war when our only successes were when we took the fight to the enemy. Most of the time we simply played defense - and our troops got picked off.
