net potatoe is right about the lightning, but not right about government involvment. This event will mean that the Federal government will now prevent Alaskan citizens from heating their home until they pay back the carbon tax accrued by this volcano. The government is not concerned about this, however, since they believe that global warming will make it unneccsary to heat homes in Alaska.
