(April 10) -- Do you ever worry about what's going on at your home when you're not there? Jeanne Thomas, 43, of Boynton Beach, Fla., wanted to keep tabs on her house from work, so she set up a webcam -- and she ended up foiling a gang of burglars.
Two men crawled through a doggie door to get into Thomas' house Wednesday, according to WPTV-5 in West Palm Beach, Fla.

As soon as Thomas noticed what was going on in the live stream, she called 911, and pleaded for help, telling the dispatcher that she had been robbed before. Police arrived at the home in minutes and surrounded the place. They arrested four men -- two who were inside the house and two others who were waiting in a getaway truck, police told WPTV. They said the men had more than $3,000 in goods.

The above video of the incident was posted by the police department. Audio from Thomas' 911 call accompanies the footage.
CBS' 'Early Show' spoke with Thomas about the break-in. "I was freaking," she told host Harry Smith. You can watch that video here.
The Smoking Gun has more on the case, including photos of the accused men, identified as Steven Morales, 19, and Curtis L. Williams, Scott D. George and Jonathan Cruz, all 20. See the police report (PDF).

A Preventable Crime? Prosecutors asked that a judge lock up Isaiah M.K. Kalebu, who was out on bail pending trial for charges he threatened to kill his mother, after a suspicious fire at his aunt's house killed two people. Six days later, on July 19, authorities say Kalebu stabbed a 39-year-old woman to death. For that alleged crime, a judge set the bail at $10 million on July 25.
