Jeremy Aikman - You've now heard of the custody battle brewing over 5-year-old Sunny James, the daughter of motorcycle maven Jesse James and ex-wife adult film star Janine Lindemulder. Jerey Aikman is Lindemulder's new husband. He's kinda a bad boy himself having been locked up several times in the past for convictions relating to firearms, alcohol and narcotics. In a letter written to the judge presiding over the custody case, Sandra Bullock writes, "While in Janine's care, sometimes Sunny is left alone during the day, while her mother is asleep from drug use." But Lindemulder says she's turned a new leaf. On 'Good Morning America' today, she admitted that she's "absolutely made horrific choices in the past." But she asks, what would give Bullock "the right to take away my daughter?"
Yankees Parade - Yeah, the Bronx Bombers won the World Series last night. First time they've done so since 2000. That's like a million years in Yankees years. So this parade is kinda a big deal. It's taking place this Friday, starting at 11AM at Battery Park and moving through lower Manhattan and concluding at City Hall Plaza where newly re-elected Mayor Michael Bloomberg will hand A-Rod and friends the Key to the City. Like they couldn't get into every swanky club in the first place.
Rihanna on Good Morning America - As much as we've talked of the fateful night of February 8 when Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna, Rihanna hasn't yet spoken for herself on the subject. Until now. This morning 'Good Morning America' previewed Rihanna's first sit-down interview since the assault. In it she tell's Diane Sawyer that she was ashamed of herself for being with Chris Brown. "That's embarrassing that that's the type of person that I fell in love with." You can watch the full interview on ABC's '20/20' Friday night.
Precious Movie Trailer - This movie is gonna win a million awards and make millions cry. Tyler Perry and Oprah produced it, so it's getting more exposure than the skull of a bald man driving a convertible down the 405 freeway. The movie follows an overweight and illiterate African-American teen who's pregnant with her second child and seems to have no way out of her hopeless circumstances. And then she meets a teacher who promises to help change her life. Check out the trailer right HERE.
Carrie Prejean Video - Who's got the video?! Does it even exist?! She's a beauty queen, we've gotta see it! TMZ and CNN both say the sex tape exists and it was the crucial element in convincing Prejean to drop her lawsuit against the producers of Miss California USA. According to TMZ, the video features Prejean all by her lonesome, and when she was showed it by the pageant's lawyers she said, "that's disgusting,' and then "took about 15 seconds... to drop her $1 million demand."
Cookie Monster, Veggie Monster - Google can't get enough 'Sesame Street.' Yesterday the Google doodle featured Big Bird's legs, and today's shows Cookie Monster gorging on, what else, chocolate chip cookies. For a minute a few years ago it seemed this favorite muppet was going green. An internet rumor circulated suggesting Cookie Monster would become the more politically correct "Veggie Monster." Thank heavens that never happened, though Cookie Monster did appear on Martha Stewart's show to explain that "cookies are a sometimes food" for him now.
