Celtic, take your political bullshit and go to another site moron. The wolverine llooks nothing like a dog. Short legs. wide body and a temper like the Honey Badger which is in the Quinness book as being a most viscious animal on the planet. Both will not back down from anything. I am sure some have been killed by bears because of the reason. Nobody is trying to track there animals to kill them. They are trying to save them from extinction.

the story has nothing to do with race or the president it's about an animal that's not seen much try staying on the topic of the story pepole!

....and lBarrelRacerl....what I find to be "creepy" is that idiot humans have messed up our beautiful Earth to the point that many species of animals are now extinct or on the verge of extinction. I see people on the street and in shopping malls and restaurants that creep me out FAR more than a lone little wolverine. I would much rather be in the company of this wolverine than 99% of the people on this Earth.

JerryVicki1976....wolverines do not look anything like wild dogs or a dog of any sort. As the article states, they are members of the weasel family. So I highly doubt what you claim to have seen was in fact a wolverine.

Global cooling is well on its way and about Obama, the effin' guy steals everything that he "gives" away. It's not his money, to do with as he pleases. Why cant the bastard obey his own damn laws?

The article said none have been "documented" in ninety years, which is not too say, they haven't been seen! As a native to Colorado, lived for over thirdteen years in Soutwest Colorado (Durango), and I tell you the area's there are next to none to get in and out of, very trecherous and remote to say the least, more so around Wolf Creek Pass, the Silverton area (The Needles) and onward toward Ouray (The San Juans). This perfect wolverine and grizzley bear country for sure! And yes, Rocky Mountain National Park mustn't be left out either. I have never seen any wolverines (or grizzley's either for that matter) in all the years I've hunted, but this is not to say, there aren't any! Seeing these animals is one thing, but documenting them is quite another.

Okay, a wolverine has been spotted in Colorado..is "Big Foot" next? Colorado is a pretty good size state with hundreds of thousands of very remote wilderness. One never knows what "creatures" could lurk in those dark and mysterious forests. One never knows..

I SAW a Wolverine in Colorado in the early 1960's. In farming country, near the Uncompahgre Plateau. So not sure about the NO sighting since before 1920.......Looked very much like a wild dog.
