Woman jailed after man complains about her cooking

NAPLES, Fla. -A southwest Florida woman was arrested after deputies said she assaulted her 71-year-old common-law husband after he complained about her cooking. A Lee County Sheriff's Office arrest report shows 66-year-old Meredith Hart Mulcahy was charged with battery on an elderly person Tuesday night.

you str8 up said it sscowboy. our justice system is so screwed up. a child molester gets less time then a drug dealer. now thats messed up. im not condoning to drug dealing but id rather have drug dealers out there then child molesters becuase atleast if my child starts doing drugs it would be my fault for not watching them close enough all the time

How can it be abuse on the elderly when she is also elderly? That's like two 14 year-olds getting into a fight and one being charged with assault on a minor.
