I have known more about GE through their appliances than anything else that they do. Their appliances have a good reputation. They should seek to grow their appliance business not kill it. Expand beyond the U.S. Don't retreat from the market. The appliance business won't decline forever. It looks as if their motto should change from "GE we bring good things to life." to GE we take a good thing and kill it. How sad. Another American company in retreat. What else does GE do anyway?
