You would think the government would give you a good percentage but since it has become a political issue over everything you can't count on it to be right.

Unemployment is at 10% when you adjust for people off claims and haven't found a job and take into account 1-2% of the population in jail that the tax payer has to pay for. They have changed this percentage to benefit themselves over the years so it's really bogus.

High unempolyment,gas at $4.00 a gallon,open borders with illegals taking jobs here at less than minimum wage and the stock market up. Bet all those who voted for cheney and his little dog bush feel proud now.

Use your heads people - the reason the claims are down is because people are running out of the amount of benifits they can get!
Kinda like welfare - only you can only get so much cash for sittin home on your azz!

Keep in mind that at this juncture in time, college is out and students are accepting summer jobs. Also high school students are working summer only jobs and so this makes it look like more people are now working perminent jobs.

Analyzing the number of claims for Unemployment compensation is not a good indicator to determine how many Americans are out of work. The actual number of Americans unemployed is estimated to be 7.6 MILLION.

How often do the reports of people on public assistance come out........looks like that would be an indicator for good use of some sort.....
