What Is Google nothing, they produce information, as the say talk is cheap. Microsoft on the on the other hand is a production company, they actually make things. Goolge is just like passing wind in a hurricane, here today, gone tomorrow.

This is good for the shareholder value. Yahoo may cave in if MS sweetens the pot.

There are millions of Yahoo! email users out there who would lose their email address if MS decided to drop the Yahoo brand name.
A nominal $1.00 charge monthly to continue use or conversion of the Yahoo! email address alone will reap MS a lot of money. And MS could mine the Yahoo user database for marketing purposes.

Thank Bill Gates, his Dad and God for computers and Microsoft !
The computer is a very good thing. Wonderful technology. Very competitive and changing and growing as we speak.

Microsoft is not the enemy here. Just another company wanting to buy another company. Buying and selling has been going strong now for three years or more. If Yahoo wants to sell, fine. Hope both companies are not owned by China, Russia, Korea and Arabia. Bill Gates is a very generous American. Don't pick on Gates. Pick on Bush and Congress for keeping us in a war in Iraq and Pakistan.
