Why are none of the networks covering the Harry Reid real estate scandal? The Dems have been hammering republicans for misdeeds, does he get a pass because he is a democrat? Would you say that immediately after the mid-term elections the winners (and losers, for that matter) will begin their campaigns for the 2008 elections? I think this just shows that House Members, and the Congress, in general, tend to spend more time campaigning than representing constituents.

To what extent are political polls skewed by the media? The majority of blogs and the bulk of media coverage seem to be very negative toward Republicans. Wouldn't this tend to shut out Republicans from even reading this media coverage?
And therefore, the polls taken by the media companies such as AOL might reflect more Democratic leanings than the broader public actually has. I suspect there are many unheard-from voters who know their candidates' platforms and will vote Republican, regardless of the blinding negativity of the media and campaign ads.

I am a registered Republican, but how can the

Why can'nt we declare victory and just leave?

I was in the Reserves during the Berlin Crisis and
was on active duty for an additonal year.

The Reservists have done their year in Iraq.
I's not fair to call them back for another year.
They have lives, families and jobs.

189. How and why has the media not sounded the alarm that this administration and congress has passed a law that is clearly againest the consittuion? The suspenison of habeus corpse is only allowed in times of rebelion and sudition. How can this president be given such powers? I was coming back from Canada this summer and was a victim of racial proling this summer. I was singled out by the border guards for questioning only because I have brown skin. I was born and raised in Chicago and served six years as a naval officer and my wife is a retired air force colonel. The fact that the habeus corpse can be suspend by this administration makes that experience that I had even worse.
Why does the admnistraion to this day still get a pass on such arrogance?

The most common number, that I have seen, of Iraqi troops trained is 300,000. Yet we are unable to bring even 1 American soldier home. It would appear that the number trained is bogus, that there are that many Iraqi but have not been trained to be at all effective, we are not interested in bring troops home, or the violence is so great that the combined troop cannot contain it. In any case, it seems that the administration is clueless, lying, or just breathtakingly incompetent. What seems correct to you?
