46. Has everyone forgot about BinLaudin? This is the one we went over for he is the one that hurt us on our home front. Why are our soldiers being killed to clean up what Daddy started. I really think Mr.Bush has forgoten why people might of backed him going to Afganistan, not Iran. I can hardly stand watching news confrences anymore, my stomach turns.

47. Hi Sam,
President Bush seems to have the Reverse Midas Touch. Everything he touches turns into POO.
Look at the mess in Iraq & the Middle East.
Look at how high the gasoline prices were this year.
Is there a cure for the Reverse Midas Touch???
Let us know.

49. Why haven't we heard about the president and congress voting against "habeas corpus"? Don't we know that this takes away our rights to disagree with what goes on in this country? This is like Hitler and Germany! Our forefathers whom wrote up the constitution whould be rolling over in their graves! Totally "un-American"!

50. IM VERY PROUD OF THE PRESIDENT AND THE FACT THAT WE ARE IN IRAQ BECAUSE ONLY 5 YEARS AGO EVERY HUMAN BEING IN THIS WONDERFUL USA, WAS CRYING FOR BLOOD. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT REALIZE THAT THE DAYS OF 'NO MANS LAND', DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE. LIKE VIETNAM, THESE BRAINWASHED HOOLIGANS HAVE NOTHING BUT TIME ON THEY RE HANDS, WAITING FOR JUST THE RIGHT OPPERTUNITY TO STRIKE, WHICH IS WHAT, GURILLA WARFARE. THE ONLY THING I PRAY AND PLEAD FOR PRESIDENT BUSH TO DO IS, REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE IN THE SAME SITUATION AS OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS, LET THEM FIGHT A 'WAR' AND GET IT OVER WITH. IE, DONT SHOOT THERE, SHOOT HERE BETWEEN 9 TO 5, AND THATS OFF LIMITS.' BECAUSE THATS WHAT WE DID 30 YEARS AGO.

51. It's obvious that this war is unjust and illegal. This current government is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Iraqis and yes I say government not our troops whom I support 100% as I am a vietnam veteran myself. I am bewildered about one thing however and that is why hasen't the major news networks gone after this thug that the U.S.Supreme court put in office as the president. It has always been my hope that America never had anything to worry about in washington as far as corruption and thievery was concerned as long as the news media was on top of things. The last 6 years it's like you have all been in a trance or scared of these hooligans. You people know better than anybody what's going on in washington and I have never known the news media to be so backoffish as I have you guys during this thugs last 6 years. Pleas help us by informing us as to what's really happening in washington and get bush, cheyney and all the rest of the thugs out of there before it's to late for this country. We need a profile in courage to stand forward and do what he or they must in spite of personal consequences, in spite of obstacles dangers or pressures. Please help us we need you guys and girls. GOD BLESS

52. What kind of idiots does Bush think the American peple are. He got us into a war he knew we couldn't win, al but bankrupted the country with deficit spending, ignored the poor and underprivileged at EVERY level,Lawmakers got a huge raise and the minimun wage stays the same, older folks are doing without their medication because the whole Bush system is romancing the drug companies for money,Surrounded himself with "yes men and women" who wouldn't dare disagree with him,he protects the most incompetent, ignorant defense secratary we have ever had, He and Chenney both have that side mouthed mafia smile that really says I'll do it my way anyway, made New Oeleans a desolate wasteland where once poor Americans at least had some semblence of a home, now he has changed his "stay the course" nonsense with a would be time table that says the same thing.
This is the worst most corrupt, mismanaged, self serving administration this country has ever had to deal with. Then he cals himself a Christian and whoooo's the evangelicals into believing him, then laughs behind there backs.
Maybe a democratic house and senate will give him a taste of what he has given this country in the past 61/2 years.

53. Why have the majority of the American news media taken on the roles of interpreting the news vs reporting the news. Every time I watch a GW Bush speech, the news media report a whole other negative commentary or shade the interpretation to a whole other meaning. Does the news media believe it is their responsibility to have cause and effect on the outcome of the direction of the County? Should not news reporters be held to a certain standard and political opinion be defined as such? Do you not think it is a violation of a news organizations responsibility not to act as reporters vs interpreters?

54. When Dick Cheney's energy taskforce met in the Spring of 2001, they paid special attention to detailed maps of Iraq's oil fields. I believe that the actual policy of the Bush administration from the git-go was to find a pretext for overthrowing Hussein, occupying Iraq and establishing a pro-American ally to counter Iran and provide leverage over saudi Arabia and OPEC. I believe that the Bush team ignored the outgoing Clinton administration's warnings about al qaeda and considered Bin Laden a less importnat threat but realized that after 9/11 that Bin Laden was actually (1) a very serious terriorist threat to the US homeland and that (2) he could the threaten the stability of Saudi Arabia and the US oil supply.
This second threat was seen as making the case for occupying Iraq even stronger, which is why Richard Clarge found the Bush Tean talking about attacking Iraq even while the wreckgae of the Twin Towers was still burning. I believe that the Iraq WMD claim was largely seen as a rhetorical devise for getting public support. I don't believe that the Bush administration ever saw Iraq as a serious threat. Since they assumed that at least some WMD would be found there and they never thought theor rationale would be discredited in the eyes of the American public. Your thoughts?

55. HOWDY MR. DONALDSON, DO YOU THINK THAT THIS ELECTION WILL BE A FAIR AND PROPPER ELECTION NOT LIKE THE ONE IN 200O WHEN THE COUNT WAS STOPPED OR LIKE THE ONE IN 2004 WHEN THERE WAS NOTHING TO COUNT IN KEY STATES AND WITH ALL OF THE REPORTS OF THE ABILITY TO HACK THE DEBOLD MACHINES FROM REMOTE LOCATIONS????

56. I would like to say I think everyone in the White House are just a bunch of bumbling idiots. I also think that Cheyny and Bush shoud be held for war crimes. I really think the reason wer'e in Iraq is for oil and nothing else. That bastard knew there were no WMD over there. I'm tired of turning on my tv hearing about how many soilders died today. Bring our boys home NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

58. I believe that President Bush is as close to a Facist as a Democratic nation can be. What do you think?

59. Why is it when the Democrats propose a time frame for exiting Iraq is labeled "CUT AND RUN" but when the Republicans start proposing an exit strategy it's heralded as the next step in "STAYING THE COURSE?"

60. I know things are busy w/elections and Iraq, however, why has there been no mention in the news regarding the National Animal Identification System? This is a pretty big deal, and oddly enough, can wipe out the small farmers/ranchers and give total control of our food to our Government. Haven't we lost enough already in the name of "security"?
Sincerely,
Jen
