32. Why are you and the news media so anti-american and pro communist. You belittle people in the name of journalism. It is criminal.

34. With all the reports of voting machine irregularities already taking place, on top of Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, do you think the Republicans are trying to turn the U.S. into a one-party government, much as Mexico was under PRI for more than half a century? If there is no paper trail on these machines, can anyone keep the GOP from seizing power throughout the nation?

35. Concerning legislation within any given state, we currently have bills becoming law without any regards to the publics consent. Our legislators are obligated first to party, and second to special interests. Why doesn't the media encourage state residents to take a proactive approach via 'voter referendum' to force their state representatives to vote according to the voice of their constituents?

36. Hi Sam -
What are the factors that have led Americans to support a president with a dubious intellectual ability, poor verbal skills and an inability to be honest with us about weapons of mass destruction and other issues. What's wrong with us? Have we gotten the government we deserve?

37. Did the Bush Administration received bad intelligence from the Iraqi exiles, such as Chalabi, (and not just bad info from the CIA). If this is the case, doesn't this put the Bush Administration in a no-win situation because if they expose the motives of the Iraqi exiles, the present Iraqi government would lose its legitimacy?

38. John Karry is a losser why, because all he does is hanging on to his wife coat tail and has need of nothing because of her money. What a life. A FREDDY FREELOADER. Did you notice what tie John Karry was wearing? If you look real good the tie is close to the "Congressional Metal of Honor" Metal. Karry The Freeloader thinks he has the Highest Honor is is Mind. To me he betrayed his country, because I'm a two tour Vietnam Veteran. He's like a snake in the grass. Our Great President Bush is doing his, jod and our President is not going to listen to Karry the FREELOADER. If you serve in any part of Americas protection oath, then I commend you. If you did serve and you don't like America then MOVE to another country. I will serve again if I was able but, I'm a Disabled Veteran. Hail to the CHIEF President George W. Bush. JWC

39. Sam D. who in my opinion is rated a "D" in his reporting. He's a sure snake in the grass. Hey Sam, why don't you pick up a peace and go to the front lines to defend your Freedom, which you take for granted. Your eyes look evil, and your mouth is to big to say anything about anything. I rest my case.jwc

40. WHO--and I mean WHAT INDIVIDUAL--WHICH PERSON--was the FIRST, the FIRST to suggest, "Let's stop persuing Osama and instead let's go after Saddam."
I WOULD LOVE TO RING HIS NECK!

41. Regardless of what one thinks about President Bush, there are certainly brilliant people in the White House advising the President, as well as brilliant Republicans and conservatives. How, then, have so many brilliant people acquiesced, if not advanced, a policy in Iraq that was grounded on such fundamentally flawed assumptions as the Shias, supporting the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, would therefore embrace western style democracy instead? Surely such fine minds would have recognized the fallacy of this assumption in the beginning, and have challenged the proponents of jingoism. From a purely political stance, a la Karl Rove, this was suicide since the house of cards would eventually crumble. Why did smart, not to mention crafty, people make such a foolish mistake?

42. Mr Donaldson,
Why isn't it obvious that the comment that John Kerry made was describing a particular student (George W. Bush) who did not do well in college yet managed to get us stuck in this war in Iraq. What is so hard to understand about that.
Unfortunately George W. didn't understand the message. Not too bright on his part. But now he has twisted the words in an effort to enrage those who would believe his spin that it was an insult to the troops. That in it's self is an insult to the troops by him that he would try to make an insult directed at him and try to make it one on the troops, to try and get everyones attention off of the mess that he has made of this war in Iraq.
He lied he went to Iraq for the oil and to get one up on his father. But it back fired. We need no where to look for the reason why we are now an even bigger target for terrorists than to this administration. Our troops are fine men and women put into harms way by an arrogant and egotistical administration. Follow the money and you will find a trail of reasons why this war was waged.
No bid contracts. Misappropriation of funds. Torture of prisoners. Firing of Colin Powell, an honorable man who was lied to just as we were.
There has been collusion on so many levels that has put our country in a disreputable light throughout the world. He supposedly went to free Iraq from a dictator who killed hundreds of thousands of their people. How many hundreds of thousands more have died since this administration decided to make them a democracy. And how many thousands around the world and here could we have saved with the money wasted on a premptive war. All the world is watching how we will vote this election. I hope they will see the true heart of our country that we can stand up and be counted this time and we will send a message to Washington that will put an end to this war.

43. Dear Sam:
Why can't everyone campaign without any of the
mud slinging? It makes them look like children and
waisting all the money for ads that turn people off. I think there should be a policy when elections roll around.tell the truth, have a plan and put your plan out to the people.nothing else
should be said about the opposing candidate.

44. When we first invaded Iraq, under the "rule" of George Sr., it was because they initiated a preimptive invasion of Kuwait. Our current invasion and occupation was preimpitive on our part. What differentiates one from the other? Are our political leaders not guilty of war crimes and crimes against Humanity?
If I were at odds with my next door neighbor, and he happened to own a gun, I would have no right to have him removed from his house and his property seized simply because I felt he may eventually cause me bodily harm. What's the distinction between that scenario and our second invasion of Iraq?
Michael Hunnicutt at 6:53AM on Nov 1st 2006
45. If a soldier is wounded in Iraq and transported to Germany and then dies, is this considered a Iraqi war casuality? I was informed that men and women who die outside of Iraq are not considered Iraq war casulities. I find that hard to believe.
