Ann Coulter is/was Really Busy

Too busy, it seems, to co-operate with Florida authorities looking into the accusation that Ms. Coulter knowingly voted in the wrong precinct last year. Doing so is a felony, and punishable with a sentence of up to five years in jail. What would cause a person to consciously vote in the wrong polling place? As the Palm Beach Post reported at the time:

A Palm Beach poll worker tried to help the GOP-loving pundit Ann Coulter vote in the right precinct last week. But, Jim Whited says, Coulter dashed out of the polling place when he told her she needed to file a change of address. "I even ran out after her," he says. "But she was fast."

And slippery, too. After a nine-month investigation into the matter, during which time the Palm Beach Elections Supervisor sent Ms. Coulter several letters, the case will be handed over to state prosecutors on Friday. This is the same Ann Coulter, mind you, who once called Palm Beach voters, "stupid," and "feeble minded."

Sweet poetic justice!
