Too busy, it seems, to co-operate with Florida authorities looking into the accusation that Ms. Coulter knowingly voted in the wrong precinct last year. Doing so is a felony, and punishable with a sentence of up to five years in jail. What would cause a person to consciously vote in the wrong polling place? As the Palm Beach Post reported at the time:A Palm Beach poll worker tried to help the GOP-loving pundit Ann Coulter vote in the right precinct last week. But, Jim Whited says, Coulter dashed out of the polling place when he told her she needed to file a change of address. "I even ran out after her," he says. "But she was fast."
And slippery, too. After a nine-month investigation into the matter, during which time the Palm Beach Elections Supervisor sent Ms. Coulter several letters, the case will be handed over to state prosecutors on Friday. This is the same Ann Coulter, mind you, who once called Palm Beach voters, "stupid," and "feeble minded."
Sweet poetic justice!

31. AS A POLL WORKER IN CALIFORNIA MY QUESTION IS, WHY WASN'T ANN GIVEN A PROVISIONAL BALLOT. THE COUNTRY NEEDS SOME YOUNGER PEOPLE TO BE POLL WORKERS. I'M 62 AND MOST OF THE FOLKS WORKING THE POLLS ARE 20 YEARS MY SENIOR. WE THANK THEM FOR THEIR SERVICE BUT WE NEED SOME BRIGHT YOUNG PEOPLE TO CONTINUE TO ASSIST AT THE POLLS, ESPECIALLY NOW WITH THE NEW VOTING MACHINES.

32. Jail? Why not, serves her right. After all her hateful rants and attacks on other public figures, it couldn't happen to a nicer person. I wonder if this Karma stuff has merit.

33. This the USA. Because one does not agree with another's point of view or how they express it does not justify using the judiccial system to punish those who expess that opinion. Talk about malicious prosecutin.

34. Ann COulter has played her die-hard group of rabid fans like the patsies they are.
Irrespective of party, she has done more to damage meaningful political discourse in this country than anyone in recent memory.
That the never married, childless, smoking and chardonay swilling Coulter has become one of the favored screech owls for the "Family Values" Administration simply exemplifies their ongoing hypocrisy and viciousness.

36. Ann Coulter is one of the only voices that keep this country from swallowing the whole "left wing" enchalada whole. I adore her for speaking up when others have turned into sheep following anything the media has spewed out. God Love her and protect her! p.s. Knowles what the hell does did not "immediately" return calls mean exactly? Who do you think you are in the scheme of things in her and her attorney's life? Time will tell and I believe she will be found "IN THE RIGHT"

37. My comment is what is the big deal? So correct it. Absentee voters sometimes vote in the wrong district. Immigrants get to vote. Where is their district?? Quit making such a big deal about it. That want to find anything they can to fault a bright woman for standing up for herself and telling her feelings just like any man would. GO ANN!!

38. I am tired of these people. Coulter is a nothing but a sick and twisted female version of Rove. Florida is the State that is controlled by Bush--the State that non-elected him--of course she can get away with whatever she wants. Had this been someone like Bill Maher, he would be on a chain gang somewhere in the everglades!

39. Seems like selective prosecution to me. Under "prosecutorial discretion" the authorities can just let it slide. I mean, it's not like she illegally entered the country or anything, right? Is there any record of any Democrat prosecuted for this in Palm Beach County?

44. There is worthy, interesting, and informative news. Why does the media waste time on junk like Ann Coulters fraudulent behavior. Furthermore, why would anyone "buy" anything she writes????

45. More politically motivated witch hunting. You left wing idiots have nothing better to do than blame everyone else for your moral failings. Everytime you play the gotya game you get your face full of egg. Coulter is brilliant and dead on. If she is wrong she will admit it unlike the rest of you who deny everything. IE kerry, clinton, kennedy, berger, reid. Conservative rid themselves of the trash, you liberals just keep collecting it.
