1. Absolutely essential reading--this system is insane! The U.N. really should step in and handle elections for us.

2. I VOTED THIS MORNING AND I WAS SO PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. NOTHING COMPARES TO OUR SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT. I DID NOT VOTE A STRAIGHT PARTY TICKET. I VOTED ISSUES AND WHO I FELT WAS THE BEST CANDIDATE. I AM A REPUBLICAN, HOWEVER. I HOPE THEY KEEP BOTH HOUSES BUT IF THEY DO NOT, WE STILL HAVE 2008.

3. How much lower can the Republicans go in their desire to manipulate, control and steal another election? WHat ever happened to integrity and principals? Why are they afraid to run on the issues? We have sunk pretty low....the FOUNDING FATHERS would be reeling! Shame!

4. I am glad to say that in Johnson County, Kansas, there have been no problems discovered, yet. I cannot speak for the rest of KS.

5. Okay I live in Virginia and have not had any of these things happen to me no one has called me. What localities is this happening in. And about the comments on the Republicans being dishonest and all that other stuff you tell me the name of one truly HONEST politician. No matter what party they belong too.

6. I'm a Democratic voter that uses absentee ballot as a Miitary wife. I got my primary ballot, but coming from Georgia - which happens to be
a close red state - I never got the one for the general election. There is a form that I was able to use and have my vote counted. This is when the
military all branches as one condemned the Bush regime, and helped so many people showing that 1) It is a Patriot that stands up and demands answers when fraud is so rampant, and 2) there still are SOME checks and balances provided by our Constitution - even if one has to dig for them.

7. The repubs stole the last few elections now with more electronic voting they will steal more. Plug up the dam for one leak and they come up with another. They can't win a fair election. They have to lie cheat and steal to win but isn't that what the republican party is all about. They lied cheated and stole in Iraq why should anything else they do be handled differently?
Richard Quiggle at 6:27PM on Nov 7th 2006
8. As soon as we all realize that niether the Republicans or the Democrats gives a rats tail about anything but our vote. They both will say and do whatever it takes to get it, no matter what it takes. The American need to wake up and take our country back from this unconstitutional two party lock on all the major offices.
John Newland at 8:13PM on Nov 7th 2006
9. Thank god for satellite radio. I voted three weeks ago and just tuned out the local radio and tv stations. Today's political election climate is tuning voters out of listening to issues. I quickly read the initiatives on the absentee ballet and quickly voted. Our leaders need to examine the affects of their bilateral mud slinging, because we are fed up with their crap. 'nuff said.
Brian Claxton at 8:21PM on Nov 7th 2006
10. I am a Republican but I voted straight across the board Democratic this year. Sick of George Bush and his tribe making mistake after mistake. Hope the Dem's get control of the House and Senate. We need a HUGE change in the way things are running right now.
Mickey at 8:31PM on Nov 7th 2006
11. Democrats won't be happy until they run our country into the ground. Everything they stand for is what our founding fathers did not.
Typical democrats stating that "fraud" is why they were out of power, has nothing to do with the fact that they have no platform except "We're not bush"
If Kerry had been in office during 9/11 it would of been a disaster. You democrats are just too naive for the modern world.

12. I dont know about other states, but voters do not receive a printed copy of who they voted for in MD. For all I know, all of my votes could have been fixed the second I hit the "Cast Ballot" button.
Jeremy Cassell at 8:55PM on Nov 7th 2006
13. One thing I don't get....after 2000, paper ballots were the problem. It was imperative that we got all voting on computers, and until that happened, republicans will continue to "steal" the elections. Here were are, 6 years later, we have electronic voting and now THAT is the problem. So which is it, guys?
Corrie at 9:15PM on Nov 7th 2006
14. For heavens sake! Ya'll are fightin' back and forth about whether Democrats or Republicans should take control of Congress. Why in the world does it matter? Why can't we all just agree on the man (or woman) that's right for the job? Does their party really make that much of a difference?
Seth at 9:55PM on Nov 7th 2006
15. I voted straight Democratic ticket and felt good about it.
