A Syracuse woman was charged after a Fort Drum soldier accused her of spitting on him without provocation at Hancock International Airport, Syracuse police said.Disgusting. I highlight this story to give folks on both sides an opportunity to roundly condemn this women, and so that the prosecutors involved will give her the harshest possible sentence.
Lauren Maggi, 35, of 256 Thurber St., was charged with second-degree harassment after the Nov. 22 incident, according to a police report.
Jason Jones, 21, told police a woman he did not know walked up to him near the United Airlines ticket counter, asked him if he was a Fort Drum solider and, when he responded that he was, spat in his face.
Needless to say, I'm sure this woman was not wearing a Niqab, as it might interfere with her spitting ability. This soldier is putting his life on the line in order to give her that freedom.

1. FYI, prosecutors do not GIVE sentences. Judges, and in some states juries, hand down sentences. Prosecutors can only make RECOMENDATIONS. However, a recomendation has no binding effect whatsoever on the imposer of sentence.
People should make some attempt to know and understand the basics of the legal system.

2. Had this happen to me in 1972. He should have knocked this slut out. I had a guy do it to me, and he sipped soup via a straw for over 6 weeks.
