This is remarkable, although not surprising. CNN's man in Baghdad, Michael Ware, openly mocked and heckled Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, according to an item at
the Drudge report:
During a live press conference in Baghdad, Senators McCain and Graham were heckled by CNN reporter Michael Ware. An official at the press conference called Ware's conduct "outrageous," saying, "here you have two United States Senators in Baghdad giving first-hand reports while Ware is laughing and mocking their comments. I've never witnessed such disrespect. This guy is an activist not a reporter."
This man who calls himself a reporter also pulled the same thing with McCain last week during an interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN. After Blitzer had interviewed McCain, Ware ridiculed the senator:
Last week, after Senator McCain told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that he needed to catch up on the news coming out of Iraq, Michael Ware responded, saying: "I don't know what part of Neverland Senator McCain is talking about when he says we can go strolling in Baghdad."
Michael Ware is one of those many reporters who are doing the best to portray Iraq in the worst possible light to the rest of the world.
Michael Ware has also publicly expressed his views on the war last year in an interview with Bill Maher, saying, "I've been given a front-row ticket to watch this slow-motion train wreck ... I try to stay as drunk for as long as possible while I'm here ... In fact, I'm drinking now."
He gets off on this type of behavior. Let's see if CNN holds him to account.

16. This whole thing is outrageous!! I can't believe anyone would take McCain's side on this issue and I am a conservative and gives me little comfort that my Party is so oblivious to the wishes of the American People, I know many conservative that disagree with this war and think George W Bush is not a real conservative just a pretend one.
I commend Mr.Ware for reporting the truth and he has not been the only reporter critical of McCain's moronic statements.

17. It's amazing really. Ridicule bad, insolent conduct, no matter who is doing it to whom for whatever reason, and there are those who perceive it as "sticking up" for the guy the behavior is directed against. It's supposed to be "okay" because the guy on the receiving end of the bad behavior "deserves" to receive this "punishment". American values have, indeed, seeped into the swamp. Remarkable! It's like this partisan thing has grown into some kind of monster that spits out civility and respect like some kind of bad seeds.
It's a disgusting trend, really. Nothing to be proud of.

18. It's amazing how low some right-wing ideologues will go to cover the truth simply because of arrogance and unwillingness to face the fact. The fact is McCain is firing blank shots to let Americans know that things are better when they are not; the fact is McCain was in a sealed off and paralyzed market place by the U.S. army; the fact is he knows he is wrong, just like Bush, but is willing to sell the brass as a piece of gold for political gain. The time is coming very soon when McCain's gold will prove to be nothing but a piece of crap and will destroy his chance of presidency. I had lots of respect for Sen. McCain for standing out for the truth until he compromised with the religious bigots and now the political bigots. I am losing my faith in politics. Next time you right-wingers write a blog quoting some "unknown" source of "true" facts and jump up and down, don't waste your and my time please.

19. Senator Mc Cain, continuous FLIP-FLOP position and make absurd statement about security in IRAQ, he certainly lost my vote.
While he had a 2 minuts show stroll, protected by brave heavily armed soldiers... and helicopters, Iraqui were dying killed by sectarian violence.
About Michael Ware......thank you for the great reporting and letting us see the true mess in Iraq
BRAVO CNN

It's a disgusting trend. It serves no other purpose but to incite more of the same. The true issue is lost completely. It's shameful behavior, no matter whether it's coming from "left" or "right".
