Seemingly from out of nowhere, Texas Republican Ron Paul has made a huge splash in both Republican debates. The former Libertarian Party candidate for president is a hit on YouTube. He has consistently provided some of the most entertaining sound-bites of the race thus far. Last night's performance was no exception. Here's a montage.
There's a little something in there to piss everybody off. Abolish the Department of Energy, the Department of Education (he wasn't alone in this suggestion), and the Department of Homeland Security? That's some pretty strong stuff. Right wing pundits have had enough of the side-show, however, and are massing to denounce Paul as way out of step with the party. But just why has the candidate with the coolest name (even better than Rudy McRomney) gained so much political traction? Simple, he was never for the Iraq war, and wants to put an end to it immediately. Now there's a popular message.

33. I'm a Democrat and I'm thinking of voting for Ron Paul. His remarks on the truth of why they hate us is right on the mark and I haven't found a Democratic candidate willing to face up to that either.
They will not leave us alone until we leave them alone. It's not our oil!!
And Giuliani acting like he was the hero of 9/11 is disgusting. It happened on his watch. He should have prepared and equiped his first responders and never have put the Emergency Response Unit in WTC #7. The man's unqualified for anything more important than dog catcher, and my poodle could outsmart him in a chase.

34. Seems that most people agree that Ron Paul = good President.
The next question is - what sort of ACTION is required now to get him past the primaries? Something to do with delegates perhaps?
Maybe someone with greater knowledge of the political process than myself can add the steps that need to be taken to see an honest man with intelligence in our highest office.

I thought Ron Paul was the only one that spoke the truth ....That wasn't a debate ...it was a joke ....John Paul has my vote ...He's the only one that really understands whats going on ....Gilliani is a freaking joke ...Nobody gives a damn about him ...Im not a republican ....however I would vote for him ....do your homework america ....he's got a reputation for being honest and not backing down ....he believes what he says .....NO BS ....GO RON ....You have more support than you realize ...if more people would wake up and really understand why we are in Iraq they would of understood what Ron paul meant ....He's got my vote and many others ....Finally a republican that you can actually say " I respect him" How refreshing for a change.

Our right to own livestock and our right to own property is under attack from NAIS National Animal Identification Systems. To include registering our property with the Federal U.S. Dept of Agriculture. Washington State has already made a law ESB 5204 to place fines so high the average family will no longer raise a chicken or any animal. We cannot allow these laws to violate our constitutional Rights to live freely in this Country. We the people as individuals have initiated a Lawsuit against our federal Government and all members of the senate, representives, State dept of Agriculture and any and all persons that initiated ESB 5204 in Washington State. ESB 5204 Becomes law July 22, 2007.

42. Ron Paul please look into NAIS National Animal Identication and registering with RFID Chips in Livestock. To include regiserting our property. all under the guise to control contagious animal diseases. NAIS in Europe has been so costly owner ship of livestock has dropped to less then 50%. Washington State is front runner making ESB 5204 into law effective July22, 2004. This pertains to all 50 states. Not just Washington State. The worlds food supply will be under control of a few wealthy people and or countrys. The United States has weakened it's defenses when all of our major industries was exported to Foriegn countrys. The U.S can no longer Manufacture any Defense weapons with out going to a foriegn country for materials both raw or finished. this United States is in a SAD state of affairs.
Our government has made us defenseless to defend ourselve from both domestic and Foriegn enemies. I feel my own government is my own worst enemy.
