This handy chart comes to us from the Chris Dodd campaign. Watching the debate, it did seem like Duncan Hunter got a lot of airtime. And Dodd's stopwatch confirms it. Sam Brownback was the second tier guy who had the most camera time, but Hunter seemed to leave a more lasting impact. Of the also-rans (like Mr. Dodd himself), who do you think helped himself the most?
How did the Democrats fare on Sunday night? The Dodd camp clocked their time too.

16. As a former Marine and Gulf war veteran, I am utterly disgusted with this selfish, brain-washed country.
I hope all of us realize exactly what's going on here. The media has and continues to do everything in their power to censor Ron Paul while at the same time promoting their pre-selected "frontrunners".
This is not America anymore, this is a takeover and perversion of everything that this country's supposed to stand for. I am fed up to the point that's hard to put into words. Young men and women are dying every day in Iraq for so-called "freedom" and at the same time right here in this country there's this Nazi / Facist crap going on in the highest levels of government. And if you think the terms "Nazi & Facist" are extreme then I earnestly suggest you take another inventory of our situation.
Ron Paul has said himself that the we, the U.S., is in serious danger of a dictatorship; We are 1 scare away from that right now.
So again, the magic question, the only question is "what are you going to do?" We have to first be aware of what's at stake. Think about our children and what they are facing if WE don't put an end to this. If not us, then WHO? If not now, then WHEN? Things are drastically coming to a head.
Part of what it is to be a conscious and aware human being is to understand the forces that surround you 360 degrees. So I'll leave you with a some words of enCOURAGEment...

17. I watched the debate cover to cover and was disgusted how the "top 3" just got to talk and talk and all they did was talk bull. Lots of touchy feely propaganda talk, and ALOT of avoiding serious questions. But Dr. Paul got right to the damn point and didn't diddle doddle with rehearsed statements.
On the war, he was clear, on moral issues, he was clear, and on immigration, he was clear; HE FOLLOWS THE FREAKIN' CONSTITUTION. And it's as simple as that! He's an American Satesman, and to not see that is to be brainwashed. Doesn't mean you have to vote for him, but to not see that he is a true american statesman is to be blind.
It's a shame he didn't get more time, but for the time that he was alloted, he was pretty efficient and kicked some ass in the process!
Go Ron Paul 2008!!

18. I guess add me to the idiot list. I like what I'm hearing from Ron Paul, unlike most of the rest esp. "rudy McRomney". I'd like to hear more of what he's got to say instead of listening to the narcissistic love-the sound-of their-own-voice neocondrones. Not only is airtime unevenly distributed but the lining up of Romney, Guliani,McCain in the middle and Tancredo and Paul on the outer wings is unfair. Spots shoud be randomly selected. I thought the media wants to be considered neutral.

19. Since the nationally known candidates, are too careful to stick their necks out it is the so-called lower tier candidates who can afford to speak strongly, and are thus able to inject serious discussion into the debate. These lesser known candidates ought to get more airtime than the likes of guiiani, not less

20. Ron Paul a real conservative candidate with a lifelong clean personal and political record. A Statesman that follows and obeys our Constitution, not just parts of it.

21. Almost all those good Christian men advocated attacking another country with a nuclear device. We need to stop them.

22. I guess this is not as bad as I thought. Someone actually got less airtime than Ron Paul. But yes, if its to be a respectable debate, they should get roughly equal time. All of them.

23. There's Ron Paul and then there's the field. What a contrast! It's like watching a runaway race. I would vote after 27 years of boycotting politics if Paul were on the ticket.

24. Ron Paul should have gotten way more time. There were so many questions that were just screaming his name.

25. I really think the time has come for the public to begin boycotting these unfair media organizations. The American people deserve to hear from all the candidates, not just the candidates the mainstream media wants us to be interested in. It isn't surprising to me that a debate hosted by a former AIPAC lobbiest would largely ignore Dr. Paul, the candidate opposed delivering money, weapons, and ammunition to foreign countries. We send Israel over $3 BILLION a year. Wolf will have a cow when Paul is elected.

26. Thompson / Huckabee for P/VP. Vote for non-hoplophobics, so that your Constitution isn't prohibited by "law".
