A recent Rasmussen poll has Mitt Romney ahead in New Hampshire. Romney is receiving support from 26% of those polls and the trio of Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and Fred Thompson receive about 17% each.
A couple of weeks ago, I noted that Romney is doing well in the early primary states. Momentum is a wonderful partner. As Romney wins, the money will flow in. Furthermore, it seems that the real loser will be Rudy. If he can't win in the east, it may effect his standings nationally.
Fred Thompson will do well in the South and Rudy may find himself riding the McCain Express down to the bottom of the pack. Romney may change his positions for the occasion but it is working. People like what he is saying ....now.
This could wind up being a race between Thompson and Romney.

16. #13--If ignorance is bliss, you must be one of the happiest people on the planet. The Mormon Church stopped practicing polygamy in the late 1890's. Of course there are still those weird splinter groups, but they are NOT members of the same church as Mr. Romney. A little research bears this out, DOCTOR.
Besides which, I couldn't care less if someone is a Mormon, a Catholic, a protestant, or a even druid: if he or she is a decent, honest person, that person is worthy of respect. Mudslinging because of a person's chosen faith is the last resort of those who are ignorant and/or can't find anything else to pick at.
This is the 21st century. Why will people continually try to drag us back into the Dark Ages?
More to the point, I believe Mr. Romney is a good man and might make a good president. Right now we need honest leadership. Of course, I'll be watching all the candidates closely before I cast my vote.

17. I feel comfortable with Mitt Romney as this countrys president than any other candidate. It's visible to the public now which candidate that best serve the nation interest domestically and abroad,it's Mr Romney.I have been evaluating all of them democrats and republicans and examine their records as public servants as well as their moral standing crucial to leading a superpower country and our image around the world. As a Christian I look at every area where a candidate without spiritual strength and faith may fall flat during his or her presidency.Governor Romneys family values impress me a lot and also his knowledge and understanding of America as a superpower country and the American peoples needs and dreams for their lives as families and as individuals. He is an exampler to many in his own life, his family and his career path both in business and in public service. Most of all he is a uniter and a problem solver.

18. As a moderate Republican, I am now leaning toward either Romney or Thompson. Even as a northeasterner, I cannot bring myself to vote for Giuliani due to his abysmal marital history. McCain's stand on illegal immigration and his flip-flops have completely turned me off. While I do not prefer a Mormon in the White House, it is still preferable to an ethically bankrupt madame president wannabee Hillary.

19. Can you believe how lucky we are if Governor Romney wins the nomination. It is very rare to find such type of Presidential candidate and I mean the kind that is true to his faith and conviction. He is someone that doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to making a critical decision as is shown by his past records of performance as CEO,running the olympics and governing Massechusset.
